Bro Jo’s offers family friendly dining, plenty of TVs playing seasonal sports and a full bar. We serve northwest beers, outstanding ciders and award winning regional wines. Normally on tap are a variety of Bend Breweries such as Good Life, Boneyard, and Deschutes Brewery. A large selection of bottled beers are also available. Our restaurant has been awarded Best in Bend multiple times and prepares food the old school way. Soups and salad dressings are all made in house. We smoke our meats daily and rarely do you see a can in the kitchen. Everything is fresh. Brother Jon’s has three separate dining rooms, nice bar & two dog friendly, open-air patios. If you want to see and feel what Bend is about, drop on in to the locals Public House.
Laid-back haunt featuring a wide beer selection, plenty of TVs & pub eats such as burgers & ribs.

Unfortunately, the kitchen didn’t deliver.
I ordered the Bro Jo Burger. It arrived on a burnt bun — not lightly toasted, but clearly overdone and bitter. The patty was cooked far past well-done, dry, and lacking seasoning. A burger is a basic kitchen fundamental, and this one felt rushed and careless.
What made it worse was overhearing one of the cooks make a crude comment toward the bartender from the line. It was loud enough to carry into the dining area. That kind of unprofessional behavior takes away from the atmosphere, especially when you’re out to dinner with your partner.
Between the food and the lack of professionalism from the kitchen, the experience fell short. Its disappointing, especially for a place that is so well established
Good, hearty food and portions. Kudos for having NA beverages available besides pop.
Crowd was lively and the tables were full.
We were planning to visit to try a few specific menu items but came to find out that they now have a reduced/limited menu. Still plenty of good options. They are known for their Mac n Cheese, so we had to order it as a side. The mac was bomb. Definitely homemade. Gotta love it. We also tried the Pepper Steak and the Bro Jos Burger. Both are packed with great flavor and have you coming back for bite after bite.
We can see why this is a popular local spot. Give em a visit!
