Social Profile:

Bro Jo’s offers family friendly dining, plenty of TVs playing seasonal sports and a full bar. We serve northwest beers, outstanding ciders and award winning regional wines. Normally on tap are a variety of Bend Breweries such as Good Life, Boneyard, and Deschutes Brewery. A large selection of bottled beers are also available. Our restaurant has been awarded Best in Bend multiple times and prepares food the old school way. Soups and salad dressings are all made in house. We smoke our meats daily and rarely do you see a can in the kitchen. Everything is fresh. Brother Jon’s has three separate dining rooms, nice bar & two dog friendly, open-air patios. If you want to see and feel what Bend is about, drop on in to the locals Public House.

Laid-back haunt featuring a wide beer selection, plenty of TVs & pub eats such as burgers & ribs.

My darling bride, my son and I were there on Super Bowl Sunday, If you get nothing else, get the chicken wings! I am going back for the wings again because the are the best I have had in central Oregon. They were fresh, extra-large (like they they have been subject to radiation) and juicy. My darling bride and I split a Reuben sandwich and their fries. They cut the potatoes every morning so they are not mushy, and serve them with their own fry sauce, House-made ranch dressing. They staff is laid-back and very friendly. We had Cody as our server and he had it an exceptional experience. I would say that you must go, but it already has a crowd, and I want to join them again soon.

Took my husband out to Bro Jo’s Pub for dinner last sunday evening, expecting a solid, dependable night out. The service was friendly and attentive — no issues there.
Unfortunately, the kitchen didn’t deliver.
I ordered the Bro Jo Burger. It arrived on a burnt bun — not lightly toasted, but clearly overdone and bitter. The patty was cooked far past well-done, dry, and lacking seasoning. A burger is a basic kitchen fundamental, and this one felt rushed and careless.
What made it worse was overhearing one of the cooks make a crude comment toward the bartender from the line. It was loud enough to carry into the dining area. That kind of unprofessional behavior takes away from the atmosphere, especially when you’re out to dinner with your partner.
Between the food and the lack of professionalism from the kitchen, the experience fell short. Its disappointing, especially for a place that is so well established

I love brother John’s Alehouse! The service is so friendly and attentive! The food is really good! But sometimes it’s “knock it out of the park” great! Tonight I got takeout and it really hit the spot!!! It was a special 02/02/2026. Grilled pork tenderloin and Thai red curry with sweet chunks of pineapple, bell peppers and perfecting creamy without being too thick. Very happy! Thanks team

What stands out most is the staff here! Everyone seemed happy to welcome us – a party of 5 – and to do their utmost to serve us and ensure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time here.
Good, hearty food and portions. Kudos for having NA beverages available besides pop.
Crowd was lively and the tables were full.

Really great food. Unexpected from the outside. Delicious food, warm and inviting. Pretzels was soft, flakey and amazing. Veggie bomb burger and chicken avocado ranch sandwich are also highly recommended. Bartender/Waitress was very friendly and went above and beyond. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bend.

We came here because the wait across the street was 45 minutes and we were hungry. I had the bison burger and it was wonderful. My dinner guests had two different Mac and cheese dishes and one liked and one totally didn’t like theirs. We also had the buff and blue fries appetizer and it was delicious. They have a decent selection of beer and wine and some cocktail options. We did not try the cocktails. We had beer and it was cold! Waitress was super busy but did a good job taking care of us. It seems like a little local hole in the wall place but it was good.

The Bison Smash Burger lived up to the recommendation—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The crispy edges of the bison patty paired beautifully with the melty cheddar and tangy pickles, while the Bomb Sauce added just the right amount of kick. The fresh toppings and soft bun tied it all together, making for a seriously satisfying bite. Definitely a burger worth coming back for!

One of the great local Bend spots! It was packed shoulder to shoulder on our most recent visit. Luckily enough a few minutes after we put our name on the list, a couple spots opened up at the bar. Shane took good care of us during our time.
We were planning to visit to try a few specific menu items but came to find out that they now have a reduced/limited menu. Still plenty of good options. They are known for their Mac n Cheese, so we had to order it as a side. The mac was bomb. Definitely homemade. Gotta love it. We also tried the Pepper Steak and the Bro Jos Burger. Both are packed with great flavor and have you coming back for bite after bite.
We can see why this is a popular local spot. Give em a visit!
