It had been a while since I was in Broken Arrow and happy to say the food is even better than before with their current chef. From new takes on old favorites (their tuna dish is really good!) to the newer additions such as the crab (with pasta) dish, deliciousness abounds. And their version of the ice cream sandwich was fantastic! As always; we enjoyed the warm greeting, service and atmosphere.

I’ve been to Broken Arrow two years in a row now and the food was still amazing this year. Their poke is always especially good as was the duck sausage fried rice that was on the menu this time. The only thing that is more of a 4/5 stars is the drinks. They are good but not great. Overall it’s still my favorite restaurant in the city though!

Amazing spot! We got the tasting menu with wine pairing. We’ve been to a few different tasting menus and this one was one of our favorites – you’ll love it 100%! Highly recommend.

I stumbled upon this place while I was hungry and tired from walking around all day. It did not disappoint! The food was some of the best things I’ve put into my mouth! The atmosphere was eclectic and quirky, which matches my style 100%. I ate at the bar and the bartender (unfortunately I didn’t get their name) was a lovely human who made sure to connect, give great recommendations, and chat with me throughout my time there. I will most definitely be going back when I visit Portland!

We had an amazing tasting tonight, paired with wine, and every single thing on the menu was even more delicious than we expected from the descriptions on the menu! Our waitress was a sweetheart and made sure that everything was to our liking! Amazing fine dining in a nice yet casual bar/restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

We were treated like kings at Broken Arrow! It is hard for my husband and I to go out to eat–he has a LOT of food intolerances. But his challenges were met with total ease and welcoming from the super friendly staff at Broken Arrow. They didn’t even bat and eye and were really excited to feed him. And the food was spectacular! Great quality Maine ingredients served up with innovation and accessible sophistication. The Tuna Poke and the always-on-the-menu Smashed Potatoes were standouts for my group. The interior design of Broken Arrow is stylishly moody, very glamorous in a Maine-feeling way. Our server was attentive, warm, and enthusiastic and multiple other staff members checked in on us throughout the course of the night. Fun cocktails–it’s just a really special spot that will now be in our regular rotation!

What an awesome exquisite place ! The food is refined, full of texture and innovations, located centrally in town. The conch tartare dish with coconut milk & verbena is truly exceptional. The poke of the day was fantastic but a little bit overpriced at $40 for a few ounces. Cocktails are innovative as well with a fun local twist on the aperol spritz.

Two of us did the Portland Wine Week tasting menu. The food was delicious, but each dish was placed between us to share and the wine pairings were half pours. That would have been fine, but for being charged $110 each ($280 after tax+tip). Reviews from other people’s tasting menu experiences at Broken Arrow show each diner with their own plates in front of them.

Stopped in with friends for dinner tonight and their whisky selection is killer and reasonably priced. Had a great chat with Lyle who owns/works there, who clearly knows and loves his whisky (which is a high compliment as someone very well versed in whisky). Dinner was great, will def. be back.

We had the five course tasting menu paired with cocktails. Each dish was excellent. I would’ve liked to see more of the house original cocktails paired, but we enjoyed most of them.
