My wife and I had a good experience. Our server was very friendly and the hostess helped ensure we got a table with plenty of space for our newborns car seat. All of the food was tasty and fresh. Nothing that blew me away for the price but I still left satisfied. We both agreed that the desserts were the stars of the evening!

I went on my first date here and the service was amazing. We had Robyn as our server and she did an excellent job. She was very fast timewise, and she was a very charming personality wise. But now to the food, the food was delicious. We were one of the last people to come and we got served very fast. The food was very fresh, the seasonings were very prominent. Everything was great. I give this a 10 out of 10 experience. All together I had a chicken Alfredo with a side of asparagus, He had a lasagna and a caesar salad. I had the crème brûlée, He had the chocolate molten cake. Also he had a margarita, I had a mixed drink.

Arrabbiata means angry in Italian, which is exactly how I felt after eating this cream covered imposter.

If you have ever wanted to experience the emotional journey of ordering something called arrabbiata and receiving something that contains the exact heat level of a glass of milk, this dish is your moment. The word arrabbiata literally means angry, and I was absolutely arrabbiata after eating it, mostly because the only thing spicy about this plate was my rising irritation.

This is not an arrabbiata. This is a cream sauce wearing a fake mustache and hoping no one notices. If heavy cream registers as spicy for you, then congratulations, you may find this dish thrilling. For the rest of us, it is like being promised a fiery Italian opera and instead getting a kazoo solo in a quiet room.

The sausage tasted like it had been emotionally defeated long before it reached my plate. The rigatoni was cooked to that special texture known as Why is this happening. And the sauce, oh the sauce, was a lukewarm puddle of dairy based disappointment.

And then there is the aftertaste. If you enjoy the lingering flavor profile of burnt plastic, garlic, cigarette butts, and despair, then by all means, order this dish. It is your personal tasting flight of regret.

By the end, the only thing truly angry was me, wondering how a cream sauce managed to steal the name of a proud, fiery Italian classic and get away with it.

I had the most wonderful dining experience at BRIO! The Italian food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The ambiance was beautiful, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable evening. Our server, Julia, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our meal was flawless from start to finish. Julia truly elevated the experience, and I couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend BRIO and will definitely be returning if we are in the area again.

Wandered in on a cold Saturday afternoon and was given great service by Daniel. I was overwhelmed by the many gourmet options, but he helped me settle on the Pasta al Vodka, with added chicken. It was so delicious and fresh. Also, the lobster bisq soup was worth the $11 on a cold snowy afternoon. Can’t wait to taste the tiramisu I’m taking home with me! Will be looking forward to a future visit…

The Newport area has really grown! We were spending time with our nieces at the aquarium and the Brio came highly recommended by a lady we passed on the street. One of our nieces is a very picky eater. The kid’s menu was excellent for her. The New York Strip steaks were perfectly cooked! My pasta was heavenly. We will be back with more family. Such a great experience! Our waiter Daniel was awesome!

The Lobster bisque was simply amazing and the filet was cooked to perfection, fingerling potatoes, baked bread and asparagus were delicious. The seafood was a little over cooked for my taste. The server kept our drinks filled and cleared our used dishes quickly. The restaurant was clean decor was beautuful. Overall good experience.

LITERALLY AMAZING. Chef Michael makes really yummy food. I ate in a big group of 39ish people, so all dishes were family sized. We had a reservation. Very enjoyable experience. The waiters/waitresses checked in often, and water was always refilled. There was a salad that was AMAZINGLY delicious. Most food was cleared from every plate. The restaurant is decorated warmly and feels pleasant because there was no ear drum bursting loud music. If I come back to Newport again, I will be bringing my family here to enjoy a nice meal.

We’ve always appreciated Bro Management and, in many ways, your restaurants have been one of our family’s favorite parts of moving to the Midwest from the coast. That’s why this experience was especially disappointing.

After being seated as a table of six, we were left for an hour and a half with absolutely no service.

I even understand if there was an accident or unexpected issue. But after 90 minutes of making small talk and smiling at staff, trying to explain to my family why no one had come to our table, it became more than frustrating.

That said, I’m still leaving a four-star review based on the consistently great service and experiences we’ve had in the past. This situation felt out of character, which is why I hope someone will reach out to resolve the matter directly.
