The dining experience here was absolutely exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavor. The braised dish was especially memorable—perfectly cooked with a silky texture and deep, savory sauce that paired wonderfully with the delicate garnish.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, with thoughtful details like the stunning floral presentation that added a unique and elegant touch to the table. It truly felt like more than just a meal—it was an experience.

Service was attentive and friendly, making us feel well taken care of throughout. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality cuisine and a memorable dining atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

Came for a birthday dinner and most of the items we ordered were delicious. The tablet to order is massive and for some reason you can’t see the items added in your cart in English. Service was just okay, had to flag down the waiter multiple times for ice water and more tea. Peking duck could’ve been crispier and the second dish, the soup, came out warm. Would highly recommend the tendon, pork belly sour soup, lamb chops, and fried rice.

JUQI is a significant restaurant in Flushing that boasts a huge variety of food and a consistent quality standard. The Beijing Style Zhajiangmian Noodles are excellent, and the Bittern Flapjack is particularly memorable — a balanced dish that truly warms your bowels. However, I would suggest avoiding the Mahjong with nuts and peas; despite its creative look, the taste was disappointing. Because of its popularity, you almost always have to reserve seats or be prepared for a long wait. Overall, it is a sophisticated spot for those seeking diverse and authentic Chinese cuisine.

The Juqi Flushing offers great food and cozy atmosphere. The roasted duck is great, especially for a large party. Not only duck meat is served with a wrap, the duck bones can be served in soup or fried rice. All the other dishes are highly recommended, approved by traditional Peking citizen.

Hands down the best Peking duck I’ve had in a long time! The skin was perfectly golden and unbelievably crispy, with that rich, smoky aroma—flavorful without being greasy. The meat was tender and juicy, not dry at all. The pancakes were thin yet soft, and paired perfectly with the scallions, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce. The staff carved the duck tableside with great skill, and the presentation was super clean and impressive. Friendly service, great quality, and totally worth it. Will 100% come back!

I’ve been to Juqi twice and the food is honestly pretty mediocre. Nothing especially memorable, and definitely not worth the high prices. What really surprised me was how fast everything came out. Our dishes arrived about 5 minutes after we ordered, which makes it feel like most of the food is prepared ahead of time and reheated. I don’t mind premade food if the pricing matches and they are upfront about it, but it feels off when they charge so much and advertise everything as freshly made to order. It just doesn’t match the experience. There are definitely better options in Flushing at this price point.

I had an amazing experience at Juqi!
The Peking duck was incredibly authentic — crispy skin, tender meat, and sliced fresh at the table. The duck skin with sugar was a highlight, and wrapping everything with pancakes, cucumber, and sauce was absolutely delicious.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant had a classic Beijing atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to try real Peking duck. I would definitely come back again!

As someone from Beijing, I’m pretty impressed! The restaurant decor resembles Chinese style structure. The food is pretty authentic and close to what I had at home! The duck is delicious and a must! The brown sugar pancake is a Beijing classic. The eggplant, crispy and sweet

As someone who grew up in Beijing, I’m usually very picky about Beijing-style food, but this place really delivered. The mustard duck feet were excellent — tender, flavorful, with a well-balanced wasabi kick. The lu zhu was also very authentic, with a rich broth and clean ingredients. The ambiance is casual and comfortable, very much like a traditional Beijing-style restaurant, which adds to the overall experience. Service was friendly and attentive, and food came out promptly. Overall, the flavors felt genuinely Beijing-style and very satisfying.
