No MSG No Garlic Foodie
We saw the outside tables during an evening walk, so we decide to try them for lunch. Knowing that the use of garlic was a regular thing in this part of the country, I checked with the waitress to see what was safe for me to eat. Apparently, the calamari doesn’t contain garlic, and of course I chose a safe salad dressing. I got to try some of the coleslaw that came with the crab cakes and it was so delicious that I order a side of coleslaw – I figured that the server would warn me and advise against it if the coleslaw contained garlic. It turned out that a side was about three times larger than what normally comes with the crab cake. My mouth felt funny after eating the huge amount of coleslaw. By the time we returned to our hotel room, my tummy felt funny, and sure enough, I had a garlic reaction and had to stay by the toilet. That really ruined the rest of the day for me as I could no longer go out. On the positive side, it made me extra careful about garlic in the food for the rest of the driving trip. The space is nice and the food is tasty, but not recommended for people with garlic allergies. I think the servers should be more aware of the garlic content in all the food.

Ate here for dinner. Good food, generous portions, great service and atmosphere. We started with clams which were very good and shareable between 3 of us. We then had the following entrees: braised short ribs, king salmon, & the pepper crusted albacore – all were solid, but none necessarily was a must try.

This is probably some of the best food in the area. The service was superb and the food was amazing. The location is very unique with a very cool waterfront view of the Columbia River. We had the French Dip, the Yatch Club Sandwich and a green Salad; all were great! The flourless Chocolate torte was perfectly balanced. Highly recommend!

We decided last minute to stop here. No problem getting a table service was fast and covered all aspects of a wonderful dinner. Atmosphere was relaxing with live pianist but whimsical when we discovered a skeleton hanging under a seating area. Food was flavorful dessert was great.

Awesome service! Hailey was attentive and had a wonderful attitude! We came here on a whim and it will definitely be a repeat! The Dover sole cakes were perfect, as were the pan-fried oysters! Their Creme Brule was out of this world!
