Company 7 BBQ was founded by a family of firefighters after considerable research and investigation. We are convinced that customers will prefer excellent, slow cooked barbecue in a friendly, upscale atmosphere. Décor evokes the feel of a 1920’s fire house – warm woods and a lot of brass. The facility is decorated with fire awards and memorabilia that the owners have collected over the past 25 years. We have a Full Dining Area, a Free Banquet Room, a Drive Through, an Order OnLine Platform, a Patio, and a Fire Engine Bar.

Nice local smokehouse right off I70. Has a sport bar vibe with lots of firehouse decor. As you enter be prepared for fairly loud hard/progressive rock that made soft conversation difficult. We tried combo dinners to get a sampling of meats. The brisket was great, tender and flavorful. My wife like the smoked sausage but I felt it was a little too fine/smooth for my taste. Turkey was awesome. Also loved the baked beans, collards, garlic mashed potatoes. The side salad was incredibly fresh and tasty. The bar is well stocked and has numerous craft and National beers on draft. Service was polite and friendly. They have six signature sauces. Each are worth a try but I liked Chief Smoky and the Commissioner best. Definitely recommend a stop by if you are looking for something new and need to take a break from the highway if you’re not a local.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. The service was good and my side salad came pretty fast. The salad had a great amount of cheese so if you don’t like a lot of cheese, then ask for less cheese. However I love cheese so I loved this salad. The main course came out just a little while after and it was hot and delicious. I decided to go with the “Chief Smokey” sauce. It was second hottest and it was delicious. The prices weren’t that bad and the service was good. Overall 5 stars!

Wow! First visit here the food was fantastic Love the burnt brisket ends..so much flavor. Had the macaroni with collard greens. It came with a pc of cornbread. The cornbred was dry. They should’ve made it a little bit more moist. Maybe some melted butter. Other than that, it was delicious

We had an Arnold Palmer (a blend of lemonade and iced tea). For appetizers, we had the chili cheese fries. For the main course, I had the burnt ends brisket with the “smokey” sauce, and macaroni with cheese and sweet potato souffle as my two sides. For desert I tried the J&Ds famous frozen custard (made in Englewood) and the Oreo cookie cake (both were creamy and delicious).

Food is good. If you go dine in. Take out portions have gotten very small, for example, this was a BOWL of chili. It was also over $7. Same is true for all their sides.

We visited on a Sunday for lunch. We sat at the bar. Bartender was not friendly. We asked for recommendations she said the wings were good. I was surprised because it is a bbq place and the only thing good were the wings!!?? When the food arrived it was cold but we couldn’t let our bartender know because she disappeared to talk to co-workers and play on her phone. This was our first time there and we were not impressed.
