We saw a review that mentioned wings with a dry rub and a mango-habanero sauce and decided we needed to make the drive to Radford to try them. They were great, probably the 3rd best I’ve ever had. We also had the “River” pizza and loved the flavor of the sauce, cheese, and dough. It was a bit ‘floppy” though even though it was well done (some would have said it was burnt but we tend to like them that way). There was quite a bit of black on it but the center did not seem quite done. Perhaps the oven temp needs adjusting?–just guessing and I realize that may not be easy with a wood-fired oven. There was also very little basil on the pizza, typically the highlight of a Margherita pizza. (photo of leftovers included). That was a bit disappointing. The side salad was plentiful, fresh, and chilled–very good. Our server was excellent and I wish I could recall her name, sorry. The music mix was great and not too loud but we were seated near one of the few speakers and that made it a bit hard to talk. More speakers might help with that.
Overall, it was a great experience though.
We’ll definitely be back.

we had a very disappointing experience (12/19) during our second visit here. i have not visited since it was Poonies — but i had heard the food and beer was good so we decided to stop by! we visited at the end of november about an hour before closing and had great service and food… our most recent visit, however, was NOT the same.
we arrived around 7pm and the place was busy which was promising! we were seated instantly, placed our drinks orders shortly after and then ordered our pizza. the food was delicious and came out quickly. our issues, however, lie completely with the service we received.
our waitress, anna b, never once checked on us after she dropped off the food. we had every intention of ordering 2-3 more rounds of beer (so you’re taking 21$+ more per person) but anna was busy standing at the hostess stand for 15 minutes talking followed by another 15 minutes standing near the drink machine talking with another employee. i stood up eventually to make direct eye contact with the other employee before she came and checked on us. i usually don’t leave reviews, but my partner lives out of town and we only get the weekends together so this experience definitely put a damper on the evening. we will definitely give it another shot just because the pizza is so delicious, but i will be requesting a different waitress.

Great wood fired pizza, with the perfect amount of toppings. If you love pizza, come try theirs, you will not be disappointed.
It takes a little time for the pizza when they’re busy so be patient. I ordered wings while I waited for the pizza and I was not disappointed. They were perfectly seasoned, didn’t really need any sauce, just perfect on their own.
Staff is friendly and the place is very clean.

We enjoyed Brick House for a casual weekend family brunch/lunch. Our picky kids both ate, which is pretty exceptional, and the pizza was great – especially with the mimosa flight! Really friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, and we look forward to returning soon.

We looooove Brick House! The service is always excellent, and we love the brick oven pizzas and buffalo chicken dip. Great beer selection as well. The Wildwood White and Brick House are our favorites when we feel like being extra, but the regular margherita style pizza is a staple (especially when we visit with our kids).

Loved the food, service, and ambience. We got the pretzel bites and two pizzas (Ingles & The Brickhouse) which were both delicious. We got a 20% off coupon by signing up for texts. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

After an enjoyable meal on Wednesday night, 12/10/25, which was a cold, rainy, totally miserable evening, when starting our car to head home, we discovered our car battery suffered a major heart attack and was DOA. I called Tripple A and returned to the restaurant seeking the comfort of heat and light. The manager, a lovely young lady named Josie, and the bartender by the name of Matheis assured us that, although they closed at 9 pm and it was now 8:10 pm, they would not turn us out and abandon us to the terrible weather conditions and would wait with us, for as long as it took, until the AAA truck arrived. Unfortunately, unknown to us, AAA dropped the ball, and the rescue order was never sent. By 9:35, I decided we would abandon the car and take a cab home. Matheus, without my knowledge, called an UBER and informed me it would arrive in 6 minutes. When asked how I pay the driver, as it was my understanding UBER is always paid up-front, he informed me he took care of it and wished me a Merry Christmas. I did pay him back, but the intent of this story is the caring and empathy of the staff toward the patron, even when off duty—Cudos to Jeff for hiring such wonderful and thoughtful employees. Excellent food, excellent service, and a staff that will go above and beyond to assist someone in need. Thank you, Brickhouse Pizza.

The French fries were disappointing due to the excess oil left on them. Instead of being crispy and golden, they were greasy and soggy, making them heavy and unappetizing. The leftover oil not only affected the texture but also made the fries feel unhealthy, leaving an oily aftertaste and coating on the fingers. Properly cooked fries should be lightly crisp, not dripping with oil. A better draining or cooking method is needed to improve both taste and health.

Brick House is a great local business with very tasty pizza. One of my favorite spots for a night out with the perfect blend of big flavors and small town appeal.
