I’ve had multiple negative experiences at this location related to closing time. While I fully understand the need to close promptly and follow policy, the way it’s handled here feels unusually hostile compared to other Starbucks locations.
On two separate visits, I was asked to leave immediately at closing time—even when I was actively packing up—and police were called or threatened despite no disturbance, no refusal to leave, and polite compliance. On one occasion, I was simply sitting outside finishing my coffee after being asked to exit.
I was also denied a refill minutes before closing and quoted full-price for an Americano refill, which is inconsistent with standard Starbucks policy.
I’ve worked as a barista myself and understand closing pressures, but calling the police on cooperative customers who are calmly leaving is excessive and unnecessary. This is the only Starbucks I’ve encountered that handles closing this way.
I’ll be avoiding this location in the future and recommend others do the same if they plan to stay near closing time.

TOP NOTCH
I walked in. A girl was mopping she looked mad. She raised her head and spoke not one word to me. I sat down. The other 2 people did not say, hi either. I waited for my drink. I got up and said thank you. Crickets. The sad thing was I asked for oatmilk and my drink tasted like they made it with spoiled milk and I couldn’t drink it. Of course I’ll be back just not to this location.
