The wait staff was friendly. They have a nice variety of food. We got a mushroom and Swiss burger and small chicken macaroni. They were both very good. There was a healthy portion of chicken on the macaroni and cheese. Enough chicken to fill up the tummy and not be able to eat all the macaroni.

Holy cow…gather all of your pickle loving friends because the pickle dip here is so good! It’s light & creamy with the perfect amount of sourness. The pickle bits add a nice crunch. If you take it to-go, give it a good stir so that the pickles aren’t settled at the bottom of the container. The kettle chips pair well with this dip, plus they give extra (: I’m obsessed with mac & cheese too, so I had to try theirs and I must say it’s also delicious! Very cheesy and plentiful portion. The to-go boxes they have are super convenient; I live in Arkansas (about an hour away) and when I got home and opened up the box, the mac & cheese was still warm! The people that work here are kind and the building itself is very cool! So glad I found Briar & Thistle I’m looking forward to trying a bunch more different foods on the menu!

LOVE this place. Just found it today and definitely will be back. So many yummy sounding things to try! The Dad is super fun. I had the PB&J Bacon Burger today ( I know, right?) So good!

This is the second time I’ve been here and I have to say the food is delicious! And Adrianne (the owner) is kind, sweet and welcoming—also fun to be around. Each table has a game to get people to put their phones down and interact with each other. Oh!! AND they have Gluten free bread so all of us gluten free folks don’t have to just stick with salad! 🙂

Cool place friendly staff. Food was mediocre at best. Came highly recommended but we didn’t enjoy. I would definitely go back for brunch but not a dinner place. I feel that it was over priced for what you got. Tomato soup tasted like canned marinara sauce. It is cool that they use local ingredients though. All around not impressed and won’t be using to cater our wedding.

Briar & Thistle is, no contest, the best restaurant in Neosho. The food is well-priced, consistent, AND delicious, which is a pretty hard-to-find combo in this area. They have a great menu that isn’t too overwhelming, exceptional staff, and they keep a nice, calm environment on the restaurant side. If you’re feeling (appropriately) rowdy they also have a bar side with a small lounge in the back. Additionally, Indian Springs brews some absolutely fantastic beer. I haven’t had a better local lager in years!

The food is good, though a little pricey. I paid $13 for the “cowboy burger” and got a single patty with a few onions and bbq sauce on top with just a dab of bbq sauce on the bottom of the bun. My wife got the pbj $15 burger, and got two patties, a fair amount of bacon and lots of sauce. So hers was worth the price but mine was not. We also got the fruit cup for $3, and it was smaller than the size of a Del Monte fruit cup. I could probably buy a pack of those for just a dollar more, so I definitely think the fruit cup is over priced.

How have I never been here before! How are you not on your way there now? The food is fabulous, the staff is genuine, and the atmosphere . . .there are board games at every table, like they want you to unwind and just be. It might become my new favorite lunch spot.

We were in Neosho for business and found this unexpected gem on the square. The chalk board outside said “Suns out Buns out” which let us know straight away that this place would suit us. The 5* reviews confirmed it. And so it was. The service was welcoming. The air was cool and the menu variety perfect. My mate and I had excellent burgers and potato salad and an old fashioned cream soda. My beautiful wife had a chicken salad with perfect mixed greens and proper chicken. There is a bar with live music next door and an Airbnb above. All run by the same owners. Clearly Neosho is on the up and up. We live 20-minutes away and will be back.

Save your money. I’m sorry but, my burger was a hockey puck. Literally. Kraft Mac and cheese. Such little effort would make a world of difference. There was a puddle of liquid left in the bowl of Mac and cheese. Seriously, if you dont want to cook don’t open a restaurant.
