I’ve visited this Brecotea location twice! I along with my husband and roommate love this place! I personally think the best item is the chicken sandwich warmed up! So so so good couldn’t recommend this sandwich enough. I also got a different drink each time I visited and it’s been great each time. Also very affordable for what you can get! Will return soon ❤️

Also, they’ve never once gotten my drink order wrong (I always order a strawberry yogurt tea w boba instead of pearls) and it’s SO GOOD!! I wouldn’t recommend the strawberry and orange tea. It had a sour aftertaste and unpleasant drink texture. It became very unappetizing when I took a second look and it appeared to have a curdling texture

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! It’s now on my top five places to eat in Richmond, and I’m not exaggerating. They have such amazing choices for dessert and savory baked goods, and the best part – the prices! I was totally ready to go broke when I entered this cute bakery cafe, but the prices are ❤️!! And the quality exceeds expectations.

I must admit that this dessert shop is the best in Richmond and the surrounding areas. They have a variety of pastries. My favorite is the pork floss cake, which is so moist. I’ve tried other sweets and have never had items that I don’t like. If you come late, they may run out of most items. For drinks, I will go with the mixed fruit teas or the brown sugar bubble tea. The atmosphere is lively and good to hang out with friends or families. Both my niece and nephew always ask to come here when they visit me.

I bought a milk loaf, and when I got home, I noticed it had a really sour smell – its gone bad, I also bought several small cakes, and every single one had an unpleasantly wet and soggy texture, as if they were not properly baked or stored. To make things worse, I even found a strand of hair inside one of the cake I purchased. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and quality control. However, I did try their passion fruit sparkling tea, and it was far too sweet for me, with barely any passion fruit flavor. That one was a bit disappointing too

We got concerned when they didn’t take any of our hot stuff to “cook” or “heat”. They half hazardously out our stuff in boxes, so some stuff came out better than others. But in the end we realized we’re never coming back. I know the joke is “it’s mostly air” when it’s not filled to the brim with whatever the filling is, but these are ACTUALLY just air. It’s so sad that you night into a custard bun, and the custard is just a block at the bottom center and the rest of everything is air. Chocolate danish? Air. Curry bun? Air. You’ll never have to worry about biting into something and it bursting out, because you’ll be lucky if there’s anything in there to begin with. Custard tastes like butter or it’ll taste like egg yolk, or you’ll get luck and it tastes like both. But never does it taste good.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for. I had a few questions about their menu, and they patiently explained all the options, even offering recommendations that turned out to be perfect. The tea I ordered was absolutely amazing and the pastries we got were scrumptious. What really stood out was the personal attention and genuine care the team showed. It’s rare to find such excellent customer service these days. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Brecotea to anyone who loves great service and even better tea and pastries!
