Chamber Red Chinese Bistro in St. Charles is truly a hidden gem! I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout, and I must say the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the entire experience enjoyable.
As for the food, it was nothing short of delicious! I tried the spicy garlic fried rice with chicken and the honey chicken, both of which exceeded my expectations. The flavors were vibrant, and the quality of the ingredients was evident.
Having been a regular for over two years, I can confidently say that the quality has remained consistently high, which is a testament to their commitment to excellence. It’s surprising that more people don’t know about this fantastic spot. If you’re in the area and craving Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend giving Chamber Red a try!

I had the spring rolls as an appetizer. They were so good. They’re accompanied by a sweet strawberry sauce…very different. The entrees were also very good. The sweet and sour chicken comes with a strawberry sweet and sour sauce. I really loved it. The batter was light and crunchy. I will definitely come here again.

The owner has the worst attitude I ever seen in my life in any restaurant she kicked us out told us that we were not the customers she wanted, she did not say explicitly but it was obvious that her reason was because we are not Asian and don’t look English or Nordic even though she is no where near white.
Don’t waste your time or money here go somewhere where there is decency and class.
You argue that the restaurant was closed when the open sign outside is turned on and if your attitude was like your manager that treated us with dignity is more civilized we would of never have a negative experience, there are 5 witnesses including your manager that told us to sit down and order food why don’t you show the proof of your manager.
Your behavior is the one that is not acceptable and is not safe there are cameras and there is video proof so stop lying to the public my behavior is much better than yours what are you talking about.
Why were you so worried that I was taking video of your behavior, obviously you were not acting right because if you were correct in your attitude and behavior you would be ok with me filming you and there would be proof that I am wrong.

Staff was great food done right on time but that was jus a small part. The food was great I been to alot of Chinese places in my day and this one is at the top of the list I would drive the hour from where I live to to meet friends and eat. We’ll worth it.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Husband and I went there for lunch and absolutely LOVED everything. This was my 3rd time here and my Husband’s 1st. He said, “We are coming here once a week!”

People working there are so friendly. Have been here when they were under staffed and they were still friendly, efficient, and courteous with all the to go orders and in dining people.
Highly recommend. *We have also ordered delivery and it was very good. Not as fresh upon arrival, but to be expected when it’s cold outside and we were not the first food drop off for the Uber driver*

Editing to say that we’ve had issues with takeout here both from the restaurant directly, and when trying via DoorDash. Love the food, but hate how many issues they have with prepping takeout orders.

Our table had the hot and sour soup, lo mein, fried rice, mapo tofu, udon noodles, and egg roles. The tofu was absolutely delicious!! Some of the best I’ve ever had.

Pretty quiet for a Sunday afternoon. The food was awesome. The portion sizes were large. You’ll definitely be taking home a care package. I had a delicious beef pad thai. The spice was just right.

I ordered online at 5:20 and got my order at 6:45. Total BS – you said when I placed my order 30 minutes. I understand you get backed up, but use technology to update me so I don’t have to wait for 45 minutes or get a license for adult beverages. Food is very good, but not the waste of my time!!!!
