The food here is very good! I loved that waffles, so soft and mushy! It melted in my mouth and also the grits are so butter and cheeses it was delicious! The lemonade was perfect! I Would definitely come back here again! The atmosphere and the owner was such a pleasure to be around. The owner had such a beautiful sweet spirit and even though my husband and I came late she was very patient and kind with us while we ordered. Just off of the vibe I would come back. ❤️

The place is very small and need to be revamped is the first that caught my attention. However, the host was very friendly and welcoming which is always a nice touch.
The lemonade was good, a little too sweet for my taste. The grits was well done. The bacon was overcooked and French toast too soggy. Otherwise, it was decent.

Got the supreme breakfast plates and it was great! The interior could use an upgrade but the most important thing is that the owner knows how to cook. The grits were some of the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend

Food was very mid. The lady came out and asked me how was everything and my reply was “it’s edible”. I got fish and grits with a side of eggs. For a $17 plate I am very disappointed. The grits were under done, the fish was SMALL and didn’t have much flavor. The place stinks so bad and desperately needs upgrading. I don’t like the fact they play gospel music. I don’t think that’s appropriate when dealing with the public. I came here based on the reviews I saw and I was sorely disappointed. If I wasn’t so hungry and had already spent my money I would have thrown this food in trash. I ate as fast as I could to get out of that place. I would never eat there ever again. I have a sneaky suspicion due to the smell of the place that they have roaches in the back. I should have walked out the moment I smelled the place, but I stayed to give the place a chance. Never again. Even the toast tasted stale. I dined in for about
45 min and not one person walked in or did the phone ring. I can see why now. Gross. 2/10 experience

This has been a truly delightful experience and I’m happy to add my 5 stars to the many already here.

I had the shrimp and grits, some eggs and bacon, and the famous lemonade. Everything was incredible and the owner/operator practically bent over backwards to serve me. Highly highly recommend!!

My first impression was very low, the place doesn’t look very pleasant, however the owner is very nice, pleasant and patient. The food came out pretty fast, all freshly cooked, and quite tasty. Also the waffle came out very cute.

We were visiting in town and stopped here for breakfast. Being an exceptional cook myself, I must say the food was really great. I had the waffle breakfast, which came with eggs and sausage. My partner had the grits bowl, which came with eggs, meat, hash brown, and toast. Everything was made to order, and the grits were very smooth and didn’t get stiff and hard even after sitting for a few minutes. The owner/cook is very pleasant and patient, and even let us try a sample of the house-made lemonade. We are glad to have found a new spot for breakfast whenever we are in town. Thank you!

In recognition of Ujamaa (cooperative economics) I visited this cute lil spot. The owner was awesome‼️Open only 3 years and offers some of my fav comfort foods. I had fish & grits. He offered tilapia but accommodated my request for catfish…ALL MADE TO ORDER‼️It was . So I’ve found another “go to” when I’m in Orlando…Yay‼️ FYI: Try the fresh lemonade too.

Black owned and they’ve been open for 3 years. It is not a dine-in friendly spot, as walking into the place looks very chaotic… So, I wouldn’t recommend coming to “dine-in” but rather calling in your order. They cook to order as well. I haven’t tried anything other than the fish and grits. It is not frozen, which was a surprise. They only have tilapia tho. It taste fresh, fried just right and packaged well. I’ll continue to come back for the fish, honestly.
