If you’re ever in Chapel Hill and need breakfast or lunch, you must try this place, as you will not be disappointed!! I had the breakfast burrito with breakfast potatoes. WOW!! I was not anticipating on getting THE BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO I HAVE EVER HAD IN 55 YEARS!! The potatoes were perfect, as well!! I had a Haw River Coffee Creme Stout, which went well with the food. I will definitely be back!!

We had a great experience as a family of three grabbing a meal. One of the shortest wait times to have food delivered to our table. Food was absolutely fantastic not to mention the maple latte! They also had gluten free options as well which is nice to see

This Cafe has the most delicious food in Chapel Hill! I especially love their barbecue french fries with pickles. The soups, salads, and sandwiches are fantastic. I tell all my friends to try this place, you will love the food!

I’ve been going to Breakaway in Briar Chapel for years now and am happy to see that they’ve expanded to Breakaway in Carrboro (since my office is closer to that location). My family and I have eaten there at every time of the day and have never had a bad meal. I’ll also meet new clients there for coffee. Each location has a different atmosphere, but both have friendly staff and best of all, they work with local farms and use positive environmental practices to cut down on waste to be good stewards of the environment. They also work hard outside of their restaurants to help animals! All good things…

It was a good lunch. I had the turkey green apple cheese cranberry sandwich. The salad and dressing were superb. I took the sandwich apart and ate everything separately and it was really good! Everything was freshly made. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside. Love the seating outdoors. I would go back

Top quality delicious offerings in a fresh upbeat atmosphere. Fine service responsive staff. I believe they pay a living wage. I have explored the menu and never been disappointed. An excellent choice for an upscale casual breakfast that will keep you looking forward to returning.

Went for a late Sunday breakfast. Disappointed in that the egg dishes we tried were very average at best. Also there were only 2 types of coffee, regular or decaf. The prices certainly led me to expect a better product.

This place is amazing! Excellent breakfast and lunch, incredible brunch, and they have just started offering dinner during the week. The food is delicious, and the people are wonderful. And don’t get me started on the baked goods – so good. I don’t eat gluten and there are often plenty of GF options. Very tasty coffee, my favorite is the moch diablo! And on the dinner menu, don’t miss the brussel sprouts.
