Way better than Smoke and Barrel that’s located downtown! You can actually taste the smoke. The bark on the brisket very flavorful. The meat was pretty juicy and tender was really Annette was really friendly and helpful along with her staff. I was definitely not disappointed by coming here. I almost gave up on Sanford BBQ until my rights made me come here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU’RE FROM OUT OF TOWN TO COME HERE.

Wow. Finally a place to get REALY GOOD BRISKET. I got spoiled spending time in Texas as far as brisket is concerned. Good pulled pork bbq is plentiful in NC. Good brisket is much harder to find. This is the real deal cooked with love. The bbq sauce is homemade. Sweet with a hint of heat. I chose wisely for my 2 sides. OVEN BAKED potatoes. Perfectly seasoned and tender. Baked beans were sweet. Only came with 3 hush puppies. Quite good. Any more than 3 would have taken just taken room my belly needed for more Brisket. I’ll be returning soon.

We have been looking for a good barbecue restaurant since we moved here two years ago. We found it! Had the ribs and pulled pulled pork. OMG! Coleslaw, roast potatoes and cornbread were the best. We will definitely be back.

It was the BEST. I got the brisket, so tender, flavorful. I serverved it for Thanksgiving. I also got a turkey breast which was moist and had the smoked BBQ taste. I WILL get my Thanksgiving meats there next year. The prices were good

Love to find the non-chain hole in the wall bbq places! Hate to say that everything was great, so have to say that everything was the best I’ve had. Best smoked turkey pulled pork (brisket is still on the list next), even the slaw was the best I’ve had. Seriously!

Now located in the old Jim’s Restaurant with more seating. Always great food. We had the BBQ plate and smoked Turkey. Lemonade is excellent….not so sweet like most places… perfect. The lady beside us had a loaded potato. Next time, I think I’ll try it. Pork skins with pimento cheese looked so good, too. More trips in my future.

Not the FRIENDLIEST ladies in Sanford. Especially the old lady with glasses and silicone, she’s a bit spicy with a cup of telephone attitude. That lady will make sure you DON’T get all your food when you order your food on the phone. Overall, I recommend exploring your options.
