This joint is owned by Robin Cantrel. She’s owned it for 200 years or so. The Branding Iron symbolizes rural cuisine reminiscent of an era long past. No greedy corporation runs this joint. Robin, a native of Safford, looks out for everyone who sits here in her home away from home. Her second home/restaurant, though not five star, serves food marinated in Graham County Culture. I prefer the Rose room. I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. I’d give you Robin’s number but she might get ticked. 🙂 . She’s awesome.

This is our go to restaurant for date night!! The vibe is nice, we always have great service and the food is so good. These are my favorite wings in town! Don’t forget to make a reservation because it does fill up quick! I also love the bread dipped in beans!.

My steak had no flavor even at medium rare… texture reminded me of eating liver, dry. Told the waiter and he didn’t apologize or try to accommodate me… only thing he did was continue to offer more soda… very disappointed…

A bunch of us from work came here on a Friday night. It took forever for our orders to be taken. I ordered their biggest steak but got something much smaller. I told the waitress but she said I got what I ordered. If so, why was the person I was sitting next to have a steak twice the size of mine. He ordered the same thing I did. As for the taste, it was terrible!

Great views of the valley! The Rose Room is the nicer part of the restaurant, the front of the place has little ambience and feels like a cafeteria. Steaks are ok, they overcook em so be careful. Service is good and people are friendly. Not many other places to choose from in this neck of the woods.

You call for a reservation and they give you an off-the-wall time. But if you show up the wait is no time and I tell you need a reservation for an empty restaurant.

View is great, outside is pretty, inside is ok and food was ok. Went with 5 other people and all our food was merely ok. Wait times were long restrooms were grungy and appetizers were very small portions. JDs was better food but not as pretty atmosphere
