While I may not stay at the Marriott each visit, I do try to visit the restaurant. Why? 1. Going downtown is a pain and the mall is crowded. Braise is easily accessible, plentiful parking nice sized facility and wonderful staff. Last night it was Justin and Jennifer. Both professional, attentive, funny and a joy to be around. So…Great staff. 2. Great food, I have never had a bad meal, food is priced to compete/beat other restaurants in the area and by far the ambiance is tops in the area. Great food. 3. Great food and service with excellence convenience.

Very disappointed and we were lied to!!
We called and were told that breakfast was served until 11am. We were seated around 9:55 am. The hostess asked what we would like to drink. She did not speak English well and could not even tell us what the options were. We were not given a menu, as we indicated when we arrived that we wanted to eat at the buffet. Another server came to assist. She let us know the options and when I asked, she said that juice was included in the buffet price.
The food was at best, luke warm with the exception of the sausage gravy and grits. The grits were really creamy and tasted great. The eggs were hard and cold. The bacon was warm but edible. The sausage links looked pale and unappetizing. The blueberry pancakes were dry and very tough to cut into with a table knife. The fruit (I had pineapples and cantaloupe) was fresh and tasty. For what I expected from a Marriott restaurant, the food was not worth the price we paid. To sum it up as a meal, it was not good.
Our server looked bothered each time she came to our table. She did not check on us dequetely and she spent most of her time rolling silverware on a table near the buffet area. She decided to charge us for 2 of our juices (which as I mentioned, we had confirmed was included before we ate). I am not a fan of being lied to. This is what brought my rating down to a 1 star. The food already warranted a low rating and coupled with the bad service and price gouching, that decreased the score further. I included the receipts showing where we were told one all inclusive price, then a few minutes later, the server chose to do a separate drink charge.
We asked why were charged extra and our server said that it was their policy, which made no sense. It was for the buffet, not off the menu. She then was saying something else incoherent about having one meat per guest. Really strange. That interaction just felt slimy.
We paid, we left, we will never go back there again!!!!

I went to Braise for Thanksgiving. Positives: The set up was very nice and orderly and the food was good. Negatives: While the food was good, it was not hot and we got there only 30 minutes after they opened. The “servers” whose only job was to clear plates and keep drinks full did neither. Plates weren’t collected until we were almost done and we had to keep refilling our own drinks. There were plenty of them there working but they were just standing around much of the time. English was not their first language and they didn’t seem to know any answers to our questions. For $65 per person and mandatory payment plus 18% gratuity 2 days before, it’s not worth it. Tips are meant to be post-service, when you can decide if the person earned it. They most definitely did not.

This was our first time here for Thanksgiving. No direction was given by the person who seated us. We had to figure it out for ourselves. Food was not maintained at the proper temperature. Our server was inattentive. We had to ask for butter for rolls, which was then delivered in chilled hard balls. In order to get a glass of wine, I had to exit the room and ask at the bar, where I was directed to pay the cashier where we checked in and return to the bar with a ticket. Didn’t dare try any of the cold salads or deviled eggs due to safe temperature concerns. Desserts were lackluster, with only the apple cobbler offered as a nut-free option. Not worth $65 per person. Will try elsewhere next year.

My family of 4, went there for our Thanksgiving Day lunch buffet and was very disappointed. We had a 1230 lunch, we got there 15 minutes early and were able to be seated. The food was cold. You would think with it being one of the first seating The food would be warm. The turkey and roast beef were also dried out. The veggies were raw for veggies that should if been cooked. There was no gravy for the roast beef. The soup was ice cold and had no flavor. We had the pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert they were to warm to eat. The apple cobbler was ice cold. Not sure what the other desserts were they didn’t look edible. We were given one glass of tea each and never was asked if we wanted refills when our glasses were empty and they could see that we were still eating our meals.

Went there for the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was ok, a little over cooked. The deserts were not re-stocked. The service was horrible, we had to get our own drinks and the staff acted like we were invisible. You can tell when the gratuity is automatically included.

Food was good and the atmosphere is relaxing even though you’re in the middle of a lobby and conversation area. I can’t speak to their breakfast buffet but it looks pretty nice. My beyond burger was ok, it lacked some spices and the caramelized onions were actually grills and not very well. But that’s a small complaint in the scheme of things.

Food, and it could’ve been me sweating to much from hiking all day, but, I had to add salt to everything. I hate salt.
Don’t get me wrong, it easily could’ve been me. The soup was on point. Falafel burger on point. A couple things fell a little short. The hummus. Nooooooo.
But the bartender made up for it.

We booked 330pm versus the last booking of 4 pm. The turkey and especially the roasted beef was very dry and overcooked. The meat cutter said more roasted beef is coming but never came. The desserts were not replenished at all.
The servers were all talking together and no one came to check if we need anything.

Thankful to have a place to get good food after 10pm. We had an old fashioned, the cajun chicken sandwich and the mahi sandwich. Both sandwiches were excellent but the fries were limp and only warm. We had requested extra crispy. Bar was busy and we atethe fries…otherwise it was great!
