While we were waiting for our drinks and food, I couldn’t help but notice how attentive our waiter was not just to us, but to everyone in the restaurant. He was so kind and genuinely warm. You could tell he truly cared. I loved the small-town vibe where it seemed like everyone knew each other and was on a first-name basis. It felt welcoming and comfortable.
One thing that really stood out to me was the teamwork. The waiters and waitresses communicated so well with the cooks, and you could tell there was mutual respect. The cooks were singing and whistling they genuinely seemed happy to be there. I’ve been to many restaurants where there’s obvious tension between front and back of house, and it makes the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. That was absolutely not the case here. The energy felt positive and sincere.
When our food and drinks arrived, everything was perfect. We didn’t have to ask for a single thing our waiter anticipated our needs before we even had to mention them. My fiancé usually has to ask for refills wherever we go, but this time a refill was placed in front of him right before he finished his last sip. That level of attentiveness really stood out.
The food was delicious, and the chai was even better. I only wish I didn’t live an hour away, because this would easily become my regular breakfast spot. But now I know exactly where to go after my appointments.
Brail’s truly captures that small mom-and-pop restaurant feeling right in the middle of the city. We really appreciated the warm environment and the care we felt from everyone there. We’ll definitely be back.
On the plus side, and I honestly the only reason they get 3 stars, the service was quick and the servers were polite and friendly. We were seated immediately and our orders were taken quickly.
The atmosphere was busy and hectic, but that’s breakfast time at any breakfast place. I hope this was a one off because I like the other Brails.
Monte cristo was fantastic, lots of meat with great crispy fries, added some syrup because of the French toast bread. 5/5.
Wifey ordered the eggs Benedict, substituted to add bacon. Bread stayed fresh and crispy, the whole meal was put together very well and was delicious.
Kids all got the cheeseburgers and you can see they’re big burgers, the kids loved them.
Our friend got a Loco Moco, she loved it and reminded her of home in Hawaii. The waiter offered kimchi, my wife and her friend said the Kimchi was delicious (which is rare, high standards!)
Highly recommend!!
