Got a little bit of a weird vibe from this place, but everyone was incredibly welcoming and it seems like there’s quite a bit of history here. Wasn’t expecting a giant campus, but it’s gorgeous and the stamp ball (with a golf ball in the middle!) was 1000% worth a stop. Parking was easy, and the cafe was packed!

Great selection of Boys Town items and apparel. Plus, the world’s largest stamp ball is here. There’s a good cafe there with very reasonably priced food. Worth a stop if toy find yourself nearby.

Fun to stop by and say you saw it. They have a pretty amazing stamp collection and all sorts of stamp stuff you can buy here. There are pre-curated collections you can buy and all sorts of old stamps. A bit kitsch-y but it’s fun to say that you saw it and take a picture with the ball of stamps.

I would absolutely suggest visiting here if you have the time. The world’s largest ball of stamps is here, but that’s not even the best part! 🙂 The history behind this place is fascinating and it’s super cool going through the museum and Father Flanagan’s old home. It’s a great tour with such an interesting history and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I think everyone, even Omaha natives who have never been here, should definitely check it out!

Best kept secret grill inside the Visitor Center in Boys Town. The friendly staff will make your order exactly how you want it. Plus there are weekly and daily specials. The freshly cooked food is awesome at prices that compare to a drive thru. They have fountain drinks and a small cooler with others. The hours are breakfast and lunchtime only. And orders can be made to go, but there was plenty of seating available.

This was just a pit stop on our trip to Omaha. It was really interesting as the ball of stamps came from all over the world. You can even find/buy old stamps from other countries and find cool stuff. Being a fan of architecture, I found a Frank Lloyd Write stamp in a case for only $.25! Worth the trip for the picture and experience.
