Great restaurant that has survived the test of time. Over 100 years is a testament in itself. I’m not from the area however you can feel the hometown feeling here. One of my clients that I fly to this area grew up on the lake. He recommended it. He told me many stories of his father and grandfather bringing him here for meals as a child. I love the sense of community and the memories I’m sure this place holds for many locals.

Fantastic place to have the best food ever! My father is from Lake County and I love to go up there when I can and eat their delicious fish and homemade onion rings. Wear your loose fitting clothes. Huge portions. Love this place!

Boyette’s is not the kind of place that you can find anywhere. The restaurant sits across from the lake. They have been frying catfish and onion rings for over a hundred years. The food is excellent. They make their own tarter sauce and yeast rolls. Try their stewed apples and country ham. Get there before 4 pm and you might not have to wait in line.
