Found a hidden gem at Box’d. The bulgogi rice bowl was absolutely fantastic – tender meat with the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors over perfectly cooked rice. The crispy chicken bites were very good. What really impressed me was the quality and freshness of all the ingredients. Portions are generous, making it great value for money. The owners went above and beyond by offering complimentary hot tea while I waited for my takeout order – such a thoughtful touch! The dine-in space is modern and inviting with a trendy atmosphere. Bonus points for the convenient free parking in the building and the short walk to Dunn Loring metro in the Mosaic District. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu. A must-try spot for lunch or dinner.

I bet this is a must-try restaurant in NOVA. Absolutely amazing! The ingredients are very fresh. Especially the taste of the sauce goes very well with the meat. I almost fell in love with the food I eat. The staff were very friendly. In particular, the boss was so friendly that I wanted to see her every day. If you’re ever in Merrifield, I‘d highly recommend that you should have a meal here. I wish there was a restaurant like this in New York, where I live.

Box’d Kitchen reopened with a new owner and new employees. Food is greater than before, and bubble tea is amazing. I read a lot of bad comments about the previous owner and his customer service. Now, you do not have to worry about hurting your feelings. The new owner was very kind and nice, so I felt very welcomed. The food tastes pretty and has enough meat, rice, and salad. I will definitely come back to try other menus soon. If you come to the Mosaic District area, this is the place you want to come to enjoy your meal and drink.

The boba tea was surprisingly good and the tapioca balls had great flavor! I also got the lamb over the pita (which was more food than expected) which was better than I expected as well.
In terms of customer service, I forgot to add an option to my order (when using the kiosk) and the owner took care of me. I will definitely be going back!

I feel like I found a new favorite restaurant in the area! The store was closed for a few months and I was wondering what new restaurant would open here but it seems like they were closed for remodeling? Anyways I have visited a few times these past weeks and most of the menus were delish! The menu I had today was lamb over rice and salad the meat was tender and the rice was cooked perfectly! The foods they sell look similar to Halal guys but I feel like they taste slightly better and more fresh. I would regularly come here!

It’s really great food at a very reasonable price! We got Lamb wrap and Lamb rice & Salad bowl which comes with rice and salad as well, and We were very satisfied. The meat is seasoned well, the sauces are really yammy!!
