It was a party of 5 I had the chicken and waffles the chicken was not seasoned and the Belgian Waffle did not taste done but it was not hot so they may have contributed to the taste, my niece had banana foster French toast, she tasted it and packed it to go, my sister has the salmon cake and potatoes she said the salmon cake was dry and she asked for peppers and onions they were not sautéed, my nephew had the seafood and grits, they did not have the salmon so they gave him two pieces of fish, he ate the lobster and shrimp not the rest, my other nephew had red velvet pancakes he is the only one that actually enjoyed his food. While we did not care for the food the service was exceptional our waiter was very attentive I do not know his name I think he gave his name before I arrived a older gentleman. The food presentation was good. Gratuity was also automatically included in the check. My niece visited the location in Mt Airy and said the food was better at that location.

My Bestie and I had breakfast here this morning. I have been a long-standing patron of Desiree‘s breakfast Boutique. They have never failed me with any meal I have ever ordered.
They stepped it up a notch. The apple pie pancakes are absolutely the best pancakes I have ever had in my entire life. I cannot say enough about the flavor for pancakes that I had this morning. Every bite of these pancakes were filled with creamy sauce and apples. The flavor, the taste, every morsel that I put in my mouth just made me want to cry because these pancakes were the best.
My Bestie had the salmon cakes, scrambled eggs at home fries. She said the salmon cakes were the best she’s ever had.

We just had breakfast here (sorry no pictures) but it was delicious! I had a Boutique Breakfast sandwich. It is a custom sandwich – you choose your bread, type of egg preparation, cheese and meat. I included grits with my sandwich. So creamy and buttery. My husband had waffles and bacon with a side of eggs. This is my new favorite breakfast place. The food and service were excellent!!! ❤️

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The presentation of the food was great, but the taste didn’t match—it was overwhelmingly salty. It felt like the chef got carried away with the salt shaker.
To make matters worse, our server waited until after bringing the check to mention that the card machine was down. Only after realizing I’d need to leave and get cash did he finally offer Apple Pay. That should’ve been communicated upfront.
This was my first and definitely my last visit. A nice-looking plate doesn’t make up for poor flavor and a lack of transparency. Hopefully, the chef eases up on the salt and the service improves.

I dined in with my cousin. Food and service were satisfactory. The issue was a to go fried wing platter for my 100 year old Grandmother. Wings had been cooked too fast. NOT DONE in joints. Pink. Ive been trying to reach manager to inform or maybe be graced with a comp, etc. Not satisfied at all!

I took my mom here on Friday, and we liked it. We left the house early in the morning for an appointment and didn’t have breakfast, so we were looking for a place with a simple breakfast menu. We Googled nearby spots and chose this place. It’s very quaint-nice and cozy.
We ordered the seafood omelette, and it was delicious. My mom really enjoyed her omelette since it wasn’t overly seasoned or salty (she has hypertension, so we’re very mindful of where we eat). The staff were nice as well.
We will definitely be back to support this mom-and-pop restaurant. I did read the reviews, and from what I can decipher, some people seem to be expecting fine dining rather than a small local business. If you’re looking for a quick and decent breakfast, I’d say give this place a try.

Such a pleasant surprise going here. The space was beautiful, and I loved the black and white decor. The staff was friendly and attentive. I loved that there was a whole vegan menu for brunch. I wasn’t sure what to pick. I went with the vegan just eggs, potatoes, and vegan sausage. It was delicious. I ordered hot tea also and they had a good amount to choose from. I would definitely go back.

I had the seafood omelet! It was so amazing I can’t even describe it! I see some racist bad reviews for them that just isn’t possible! Black owned! Black people come here and support! It’s worth the $20 some dollars!
