I was really hoping this place was going to be worth of our anniversary dinner. Sadly it was underwhelming. My husband’s beer and the carrots were the highlights of our meal which cost $146. Our artichoke hearts were soggy and had very little meat for $15 price. The brisket came out cold, grey and very gristly. I had to spit out half of what I could eat. The coleslaw had no flavor. My husband’s prime rib was cooked okay but definitely not better than lesser expensive restaurants. Our waiter was friendly but unfortunately could not recover the let down of the experience from the kitchen. Sadly we will have to re-do our anniversary celebrating at another steakhouse.

The patio seating is at a garden making it dog friendly. It’s serene, with lots of shades. Great for lunch. Fried chicken is crispy and juicy (order it). Onion soup is particularly well seasoned and balanced (order it). Hanger steak is flavorful and tender (order it). French dip is made quite well. Fries are well cooked. Great service. Dessert is decent but not the greatest strength. Tacos are good but also not the greatest strength.

Underwhelming. Had a reservation and the waiter first made contact after 20 minutes. Ordered grilled oysters which were terrible. The only flavor is burnt bread crumbs. Had the couple BBQ plate for the entree with brussels as a side. Ribs were cooked great, chicken is solid, brisket was all fat. I get that happens sometime with the cut but when you slice it and it’s all fat it shouldn’t go out. 4 of 6 slices of brisket were 100% fat. Overall it seems extremely overpriced for a less than meh experience

Came on a rainy Sunday for food and the game. Sat by the bar/ window and was able to order. Great service but SLOW. It wasn’t busy that day, had to wave down the server each time. Food was good, so was the beer but my company was better. would come back and maybe sit AT the bar for better service.

I’ve had lunch and dinner here several times. Why it’s now 3 stars is the eye-popping menu prices which have gone up significantly. $40 to $60 entrees is simply overpriced.

Thinking this was a wine-oriented establishment we ordered one of the more expensive champagnes to accompany the oysters and one of the more interesting red wines to accompany the elk. After the oysters were sitting on our table for over 15 minutes we were informed the champagne was not available so had to select another. The red wine arrived at over 80 degrees also after a lengthy delay while it was located. Apparently only the manager can get the wines, hence the delays. We requested an ice bath to cool the red wine to a reasonable temperature but the inconvenience of waiting to enjoy the wine while the food was sitting greatly impaired the experience. The food was fairly good but the overall experience was very inferior.

My team brought me here for a welcome to the team lunch, and I was so glad to try this place. We were greeted and led to a table within minutes.

This was a fantastic restaurant!! We loved our experience there. The first thing that will hit you when you walk into the restaurant is the smell of some delicious smoked meat. It definitely makes your mouth water. The food was fantastic. We went during happy hour which they offer a limited menu because the kitchen staff is swapping from lunch to dinner. But there are very many options to choose from. Our waiter/bartender was extremely kind and amazing which made the experience even better.

I was disappointed. Overpriced for the quality. The brisket was extremely fatty, and I doubt if it was even smoked…quite flavorless. The BBQ sauces were very weak, even watered down I suspect. If you’re looking for good BBQ don’t come here. Mediocre shopping mall food for the masses with upscale prices.
