I went here today for the first time to get soup. The soup was good but it was extremely expensive. $21 with tax for corn chowder that probably cost them $1 to make. I got 2 small soups and corn chowder and it was $25. The corn bread tasted and smelled fishy somehow and I didn’t eat it. When we heard the prices we almost walked away but I didn’t want to be rude. The staff was very nice though. That being said, I won’t be back due to the prices. I’m also a manager at a restaurant and I know things are expensive but not expensive enough to sell a quart of soup for that much money (or at-least corn chowder, the prices should be based on each different soup, not a flat rate.) You could buy a rib-eye at my work for the same price with two sides. I really think they need to reevaluate their prices if they want to stay in business. The soup is good but it’s not made with gold.

It is very nice to have a different choice for food in townsend area. The soups are pretty good and probably the healthiest choice in the area. Having said that, as a cook myself, the prices on some of the soups are a little outrageous. I know what it costs to make a big batch of soup. I also know what it costs to rent a commercial building. And of course the cost of living nowadays. I hope the overpriced soup is trickling down to the employees. $20. an hour should be the minimum starting wage based on the cost of the products.

We went here thinking it was actually a place where you can get some food unfortunately all they had was some soup that I thought was absolutely overpriced

The Owner & her staff are very friendly & professional. The soups are phenomenal, the bread is fresh & delicious. Townsend has needed a place like this for a long time & I’m happy something other than a sub shop has opened in Townsend.

Just took a spin down after hearing all the hype. Got corn chowder and a ham / cheese panini. Both were EXCELLENT! Grabbed corn bread and a whoopie pie as well. Also awesome. Friendly staff and very professional. Nice to have something else in town other than pizza. .
