Welcome to Bouchée Confections! Our mission is to produce and share visually stunning and delicious handmade chocolates, desserts, and confections. We have also become known for our incredible High Tea experience which features many of our sweets as well as some savories. All of our products are handcrafted right here in Reno and are constantly changing with the seasons. “Bouchée” is French for “mouthful” and we feel that everything we produce should be completely satisfying and tasty at first mouthful. This place has the most sublime desserts! I took my Mother and daughter here for a sunday morning treat and we were not disappointed. They serve hand crafted desserts, espresso coffees, tea and chocolates. I ordered a mocha coffee and it was made with real chocolate from their melted chocolate reservoir. It was the most decadent drink I have ever had.
We ordered 3 desserts to share. They are very rich and delicious. We had the strawberry pistachio cake, the chocolate raspberry cake and the triple chocolate cake. My favorite was the Strawberry Pistachio, but honestly they were all amazing. The employee working was so sweet and helpful. This is now on our list of special places in Reno. I’ll cant wait for the holidays to gift their beautiful handmade chocolates. They are gorgeous!

Bouchée High Tea is such a special place. The quality of the food and tea is always amazing, and the attention to detail makes each visit feel like a treat. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience is consistently top-notch.
My husband and I make it a point to attend high tea here every month to try the new menu, and it never disappoints. Each monthly spread is creative, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. They also always have unique mimosa flavors that pair beautifully with the food, which adds a fun and refreshing touch to the experience.
Outside of our tea dates, we’re also in regularly to pick up bonbons, gelato, and other sweets. Everything they offer is beautiful and high quality.
Their policies are clear and fair, and communication is always smooth and professional. It’s obvious they care about both their craft and their customers.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, elegant, and consistently excellent experience, this is the place. Highly recommend making it part of your routine.

Afternoon Tea! A wonderful surprise to find in Reno for sure! Today’s Savory forward tea was absolutely delicious! I’m normally a traditionalist and was delightfully surprised. Dessert tier and Confections extra yummy! The Staff was lovely and very attentive even with a full house.

I bought 3 pieces of the pastries- the chocolate chocolate chocolate, the white chocolate raspberry and lavender apricot for my husbands birthday. The first 2 was definitely a big hit, super moist and delicious, but the lavender was not a personal favorite. Overall must try spot for small yet fancy cakes!!!!

Love love love Bouchée! My family live in Reno and introduced us to Bouchee Confections. After enjoying these treats all summer I spent the next 3 seasons searching for something comparable in my very large city halfway across the country with no luck, Bouchee is better. This fall I gave up and just started shipping things here and I am SO happy! (And so are my kids teachers and anyone else who receives gifts from our family ). I found Bouchée today to get some desserts for a birthday. I did not expect the delicious and beautiful confectionery selections! I was so proud to present these to my sister-in-law for her birthday. I stumbled upon Bouchee several years ago when the owner was first opening. I was immediately impressed with the craftsmanship, creativity and deliciousness of the chocolate. I became a frequent visitor when I lived in the area and now that I live in Southern California my purchases are less frequent but even more treasured. I recommend Bouchee chocolates to anyone who loves quality chocolate near and far!

I have loved Bouchee in the past, and want this review to be more of a chance for improvement. I want to be clear, that before this, I have had wonderful experiences. While I have been to the high tea many times, this time I have a medical condition which made me unable to eat nuts and seeds, and despite warning them weeks in advance, no effort was made to change the scone (lemon poppyseed, which I have never seen a seed scone here previously ironically). I understand it is a pre fix menu, but the lack of any attempt at accommodations (such as knocking the price off for the scone I could not eat at all, or setting aside plain dough, or offering something else), was disheartening. Additionally, some of the sandwiches were incredibly odd. I have friends with shellfish allergies, would they not be accommodated, as this time they had a shrimp sandwich if they came? I think Bouchee confections would benefit greatly from having some high tea standbys available, such as traditional tea sandwiches or plain scones. I don’t want to be too much of a Karen, and just simply hope to see some improvements.
