It’s a great little place to sit down and grab a little BBQ. We had their collard greens and green beans, and they were seasoned and very good. The coleslaw wasn’t typical, but not bad. The bbq had a wonderful flavor, but the sausage was hard and dry. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal and we will be back again.

Came in for the first time to grab a to-go order and felt very welcomed! The owner greeted us and was pleased to let us know about the restaurant, his food and even customer recommendations. He let us know about himself and in conversation said “I’ve got nothing but time and a desire to do it right!”
You can tell his heart is in his food and the restaurant. He wants it done right and appreciates his customers. He greets many by name already who are repeat customers and with a friendly smile!
Now on to the food.. we ordered sausage, ribs, shrimp and grits (our favorite) as well as sides. Surprisingly when you go to a restaurant, you expect main food items to be the best, but here, you will also love their sides. Beans, corn bread, baked potato salad, macaroni and cheese. They all have their very own unique and tasty twist to them, so be sure to try the sides as well. We also loved their decor, which was detailed with a love of John Wayne. What a great place, we are always glad to meet great people and enjoy wonderful food!

Picked the two meat combo with brisket and bologna, sides were mac n cheese, and collard greens.

My honest opinion of this place was that the food overall was just ok.

Brisket came out not dry but definitely overcooked, seasoned a bit too much with pepper.

Bologna – was the best of my meal, Smoke flavor was there, and was good.

Mac n cheese – flavor was spot on, noodles were old, or under cooked.

Slice of toasted bread – definitely could have been a bit softer, didn’t care for it.

Was hoping for a better experience, given the reviews here, but it just didnt impress me.

Holy cow.
As soon as you walk in you’re met with the smell of smoke, and well prepared food.

The sausage is prepared by a German family and is out of sight.
So much flavor packed into that sausage casing. And it pairs well with the regular and spicy BBQ sauce.

The chicken is marinated and well seasoned and it actually accentuates the smokey flavors.
Also it’s so bone dry! Very juicy.

The pork is well seasoned and smoked with out hiding the amazing porky flavor!

Y’all…the macncheese…. comes with a sprinkle of bacon…. Soooo yummy.

The cowboy beans. I can’t even. My brain can’t express properly the flavor of these beans.
I could just eat a bowl of these beans with some corn bread.

My wife and I are both huge fans now.

Thank you so very much for a plate of entirely home cooked food.

I have to say this was one of those times. Where you are driving by and think, oh heck let’s try it. Well you won’t be disappointed. This place I rate right up next to Butchers in Wellston, OK.

The food was awesome. I had a chopped brisket sandwich with a side of Mac & Cheees. The brisket was the star of the show. It was tender, you would actually taste the meat. The smoke was just the right amount. The brisket was seasoned with Black Pepper and Salt, perfect. The Mac & Cheese was creamy and tasty.

I brought home some pulled pork, hot link and brisket. The hot link is delicious. I don’t eat pulled pork. My husband said the pork was very good. The collard greens are good, just need a little more heat for us.

I will definitely be going back. If you haven’t tried this place. Please do, the owners are awesome. All staff was very friendly.

Some of the best BBQ in Tulsa area and that is saying a lot! The ribs and brisket were amazing. Subtle and complex flavor, and juicy! BBQ sauce was good but not needed on this meat. Had the mac and cheese with bacon topping. So good. Joel and Rhonda are so welcoming and friendly. I love the wood and metal atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Great little BBQ place in Sapulpa. Great sausage (the jalepeño sausage is on point). Brisket was tender, ribs were fall off the bone. Great portion size for meats and sides. Be sure and save room or the cake balls for dessert…

My only issue was that the music was too loud 🙂

Great service…had my order in just a couple of minutes.

Be sure and make plans to stop by on your way through Sapulpa on a Route 66 trip.
