Ate here 2/16 for a friend’s b-day celebration.
Food was fine and there is variety (so there should be something for everyone) However the price point is super expensive. Even with a 10% discount for being a Veteran it was close to 41.50. Everyone else paid $45 and some change. It should be half of what is advertised.
Front of house was friendly as were our servers. I wish I got our Waiter’s name. He was awesome. Always picked up our plates when we were finished and refilled folks’ drinks. You do have the option of getting your own drinks (not pictured but they have water, juices (apple, orange, cranberry), and Coke products via Free-style self service
Now on to the food. It was a mix bag and I will break down from what I enjoyed the most to least:
Food that were highlights: sweet potatoes, the steak (it looked medium rare to me and was not chewy at all, very tasty), the mash potatoes, the rolls, the crab and tomato bisque (altho a little spicy), the elote style corn, manicotti, and the primavera pastas, the desserts (personal fave was the Panna Cotta (the tin cup). Majority of the group liked the Chocolate mousse cup (I wish they had a milk chocolate option. Dark chocolate will always be ok to me)
Foods that were meh: the Mac and cheese, the plantains, the pizza, chicken nuggets, squash (tasted like it was there for a bit, I bet it’s amazing fresh)
Food low lights: The Asian section. Just avoid. The rice had a sour taste to it. The pot stickers were super bland. They need to label their sauces. Go to an Asian themed buffet instead
Foods that look questionable: the sushi, the prime rib (looked super dry and sad), and the cold shrimp
Foods I wish I got to try: the salmon, the meatballs, the gelato, the shrimp pot pie (they ran out!)
Note #1: In order to reach the buffet you have to walk through the casino where parts allow for smoking. I am highly sensitive to smoke and had to cover my nose and I was kind of miserable. Luckily once you reach the buffet itself you do not smell the smoke at all.
Note #2: they are closed Tues-Thurs which is very weird to me esp how popular this buffet is.
Overall this place is fine. I wish I could give half stars as I would give this place a 3.5 out of 5 but had to give 4 out of fairness.

The Borgata casino is located in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The breakfast and brunch buffet has a nice variety of options. An omelet station is helpful for personalized ingredients. Machines provide different juices. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, lox, ham, sausage, bacon, cereals, grits, fruit and desserts keep everyone satisfied. The buffet begins to offer brunch items later in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff can assist with bringing beverages to your table and handling any special requests.

We had dinner with my family and absolutely disliked the food. It was unappetizing, like a country diner. Some of our family members refused to eat anything because the food looked questionable and smelled stale. The selection was very limited; for the same price, we’d have gone to the Hard Rock Hotel buffet and everyone was happy. I’d also like to point out the terrible pricing policy: they don’t give children a discount. Or rather, only children under 8 get a discount, while at the Hard Rock buffet, children under 11 get a discount. We spent $366 and ate crap.

The food wasn’t the correct temperature , barely warm never hot. The steam shrimp was,soggy, the gravy for the mashed patatoes was a 6, and the pastries were stale. I could go on and on; im suprised i didn’t get food poisoning . The price for this dinner about $44.99 a piece!

This is our go to choice for dinner when we visit. We came on a Monday around 5pm.I suggest coming waiting to come to dinner until at least 4:30 if not 5 if you can because when they first open at 4 there’s already a line that builds before they even open and will cause you to have to wait a bit. When we came at exactly 5 we were able to walk up and there wasn’t a line at all! They service was great as always the server was very attentive with drinks and provided any condiments that’s we needed. The food selection is pretty wide and have some stand outs like their Prime rib which is very tender but lacked seasoning and their steak which was very well seasoned and had a variety of temperatures to choose from. They had a good of seafood as well such a mussels, clams and multiple types of shrimp. Tons of dinner sides like their delicious Mac and cheese, colllard greens, French fries, green beans and so much more. I highly recommend if they have it when you come to try their ribs, they are FALL OFF THE BONE TENDER! Then make sure you leave room for their GIANT selection of desserts! You have to try the gelato and if you happen to see the pineapple upside down cake grab it quick before it’s gone! That cake was so moist and so much flavor I wish I had room for anything slice. I promise you’ll find something for everyone here and leave more than satisfied! The only negative I can say is that I wish they kept the food replenished more often. But other than that no complaints and will always be our favorite dinner spot.

The MGM Borgata is the most upscale casino & resort in Atlantic City. It has 5 restaurants serving up quality steaks.
Therefore it is no surprise that the buffet is also a grand slam offering many quality options.
I dine here often and my only complaint is the length of the line. But you can skip it if your buddy has a Platinum or Noir card .
Don’t forget to sneak out some mini pastries for the kids
✨✨BTW: if you can spot me at the buffet or baccarat table. I’ll get you complimentary entry into Amphora lounge. The food is 1 level up & free alcohol includes McCallan 12.
HINT: look for an athletic cyclist that’s a bit flamboyant

Borgata Buffet is located inside the Borgata Hotel Casino. Dinner buffet is from 4pm to 9pm for $42.99 per person – gratuity not included- we went on a Saturday. They have great variety of food. I’m not super picky and I find that I actually liked most if not all of what they served in the buffet menu. For dessert, i really liked the plain cheesecake. Service can be better, our server seemed really busy with other tables with bigger groups. He still managed to check in on us and remove the used plates on our table but not as frequently. Still giving it a 5 star overall and would still recommend because we really liked the food.
