We were in the mood to try out a new restaurant so we quickly found this spot. We had never been here and did not know what exactly to expect, but I can tell you that we were definitely not disappointed. Our server Presley was absolutely fantastic. She made recommendations off the menu and help guide us through the perfect culinary experience. We tried the Brie raspberry special of the week and it was one of the best things that we have ever eaten. This dish could easily be a dessert or an appetizer. In fact, I would be inclined to order it for both. The perfect start and finish to a dinner. The drinks were also excellent. I tried a couple of different cocktails and wasn’t disappointed on any of them. My main dish was very good and Jared my husband loved his tuna tartare. We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu and are super excited to know that they change the specials every single week always with a seasonal focus. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant for a great date night. I highly recommend you all check this place out.

Bora is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Connecticut. Delicious food, fantastic service, and an beautiful restaurant to dine in. My family and I went on a Thursday afternoon for dinner. Ordered the mussels as an appetizer, these were amazing. The coconut sauce was stellar. We all ordered entrees but the stand outs were the braised short rib and the mahi mahi with mango pico de gallo.

Bora is awesome. Simple as that. The food is amazing and atmosphere is always light with a hint of fancy but mostly just fun. We tried a drink tonight which was a nectarine mezcal special (invented by our waiter Evan!) and it was delicious. So much so that they sold out and we kept it going with our usual go to – spicy blackberry margarita. Food is always so good that you can’t really go wrong with anything. Highly recommend any of the burgers or chicken dishes. The short rib is also top notch. If you have the opportunity to sit in Evan’s section, jump on it. He is genuinely the nicest, happiest human in the world and he will make sure you have a great time. Highly recommend making Bora one of your regular spots!

We had the most wonderful dinner at this new Restuarant! I had one of their specials, jumbo scallops & a veggie medley. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the veggie medley was heavenly! My husband had shrimp & scallops with a side of polenta. He was very happy with his choice, although too much polenta for him. The desserts were divine too! The service was super and we liked the cosy atmosphere. It was especially nice with their two fireplaces going. We highly recommend Bora Restaurant in Bethel. We will need back soon!

Amazing way to spend Mothers Day dinner with my family! Hostess was lovely as was the server. We were accommodated very nicely as water was filled and she was always there when we needed her! The food came out great, I ordered the Smoked Fried Cream Pork Belly as my first course and as my second I had a bone-in ribeye. They were fantastic, no complaints here!! Will definitely be coming back!

Had dinner at Bora tonight for the first time and it will now be our go-to date night spot. Everything was excellent from the service to drinks to the dinner and dessert. We sat outside on the lovely patio and really enjoyed the relaxing ambiance, but the interior was beautiful too! The spicy blackberry margarita and passion fruit mojito cocktails were delicious. For appetizers, we enjoyed the charred cauliflower with goat cheese sauce and pretzel bites from the specials menu. The braised short ribs with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious, and we loved the lemon mousse cake for dessert. We’re so happy we discovered this gem and had such a wonderful date night.

I made a last minute reservation for Mother’s Day for my big family of 8. Even though they were pretty booked, we were fully accommodated. A Hostess greeted us and we sat down immediately. The service was incredible, and they catered to all of our requests extremely quickly. For food, you can’t you find better food in bethel. EVERY single person loved their food and their portion sizes were perfect. The interior also was just stunning, the vibes it gave off were so cozy. Just such a beautiful, trendy place. Looks perfect for hosting events. This place saved my Mother’s Day, and I 100% recommend the place to anybody & hope to visit them soon.
