Overpriced and slow service, even when half empty. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich for $21 and added fries for another $3. The chicken filet was the tiniest, thinest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen being passed off as an adult’s sandwich. I had to take a picture because I thought it was a joke at first. Or maybe they had brought the kids version by mistake? The fries were another slap in the face. Not one single crispy fry in the whole bowl. All mushy, flacid and inedible. It was a $24 meal and it was terrible. It took ages to get our drinks, then we didn’t get water refills at all, through the entire meal, even after asking. It was just a really bad experience for a lot of money. I guess they make all their money on tourists, but we definitely won’t be back as locals.

Just not a great experience. First cocktail ordered had ingredients they didn’t have. The backup was a Sazerac, which you can tell by the picture I attached is not a properly made Sazerac — chipped ice and a lemon edge… it’s not iced tea. It was not good.

The water in women’s bathroom didn’t work and the guy’s bathroom trash can was overflowing from the night before — obvious no one emptied it as we were literally the first customers in the bar that day.

Food-wise, the beet salad was decent, though they were out of turkey (which seems to be a consistent theme), and the snitch burger was fair. On a positive note, the bartender was friendly.

Best to just avoid this place unless you just want a beer.

We were seated quickly which was nice. It took awhile for the waitress to get our order, because she had a big table to serve near us. We were never offered another drink after we got our first drink. Food was good, but the fries cost an extra $3 and it came to us lukewarm and in a small dish, so not worth the extra money, just go with the kettle chips. The atmosphere was really cool. I loved the decor and the dim lighting. The bathroom needed service. One toilet out of two was out of order, one side of the sink was out of order, and I think one paper towel dispenser was empty. The employees were nice enough though. The French dip sandwich was amazing. The Cobb salad was good too.

The food was pretty good. Not the best but better than some other places. The place was not that crowded when we went. But the is no AC and it was hot out. The chairs are not the most comfortable so staying and just talking with friends after eating was not a good idea. Even though there was almost no one in there, our food took forever. We got the deviled eggs appetizer and it was not what was described. There were no chives and instead was beets sauce and it looked like the eggs were pickled in beet juice. The pulled pork was good. Was a little dry. The staff especially our server Jaelyn was the best! Such a great personality and was fun to talk to. Prices were ok I guess.

Have been to bootleggers twice before in a span of 2 years. Considering we do not live in Scottsdale and is a 45 minute drive or more! Has been very good in the past.
Took son for 21st birthday considering his love for ribs. It was a party of 4 and ordered an appetizer of the Mac&cheese balls. The place wasn’t terribly full but there were some people both at the bar and eating areas.
When the less than enthusiastic waitress arrived, she asked if we’d like an appetizer, we told her what we would like.
Seeing we are a party of 4 adults. The starter arrived eventually and 3 plates were given along with 3 small portions! Shook my head and asked why that was? She replied very quickly that “everything is served in 3’s!!!” Now,
I’ve never waited tables in my life… However, if I’m working for a tip. I’d like to think that you would let the customer know and maybe suggest that to either make 2 orders or add 1 extra even for a slight up charge if possible. Or, maybe even state that in the menu.
At the end of the night, son was somewhat happy for his bday. But I will not return for a sub par cheese burger that I had and was nothing special at $23.00 and up charge for sweet potato fries. Can get the same meal at half the cost with fries that taste better.
And after reading some of the other bad reviews…
Seems like who ever is running the place doesn’t seem to care or reply!

Holly was incredible during the Ravens game tonight! She was handling business by herself and didn’t miss a beat! The DJ was also playing a great country playlist!

Ribs were cold. Sauce was blah at best.
No seasoning…. pretty sure they don’t pull the membrane…. fall off the bone???? No!!
Overpriced is an understatement… waitress was super nice but super slow. We ordered everything no add-ons… but fries were late.
Ranch sauce was late… makes it hard to enjoy.
Thankfully the wife’s bbq pork sandwich was good or I would have asked for my money back.
Diners Drive inns and dives let me down on the recommendation!

Overpriced, ribs mostly sauce, not hot, hard veggies, Appetizers not served before dinner, my drink only 1/2 a drink. Would never come back.

Christopher you’re amazing! Thank you for being kind to Betsy and I. We went into 4 different places before we found BootLeggers. Betsy recommends this place for anyone with autism if you want to feel welcomed and seen. Food was delicious nothing left on my plate.

A great place to watch the Baltimore Ravens (and eat incredible smoked bbq)!!!

The food and drinks were fast and delicious! Holly the bartender is our girl! She’s friendly, funny, and she always takes great care of us. Everyone there is on board with the Ravens. Even the manager gets in on the fun!

The food is phenomenal! Tacos for the win!
