We went with friends to Bonnie Blue House on the flint. We have never been there. They have been there before they moved to this new location. The parking lot up front is very, very small. Parking across the street was almost full. I forgot to take pictures of the inside and only took a few on the outside. I did take pictures of the menu. Which the menu’s looked dirty. They did sit us 4 right away. It was a full house tonight when we were there. Our waitress was a sweet young lady. She kept our drinks full and checked on us. I ordered the dirty bird with fingerlings potatoes and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was disappointing. Wasn’t Caesar At All! Only Caesar was the dressing. The dirty bird was ok. The fingerling potatoes were great. My husband ordered the duroc center cut pork chops with mashed potatoes and house salad. His salad was same as mine but different dressing and had one small tomato cut in half. The pork chops was delicious. It was cooked just right. Very juicy! I should have ordered it. Our friends ordered steak. A lot of fat on the steak. They were cooked right. Love the outside view of the park and flint. They had outside sitting on a screen porch. It’s to hot right now to sit out there. Female bathrooms were very clean. Walking by the kitchen area to go to the bathrooms, you could see in the kitchen. It was very busy in there and it looked clean in the kitchen. I thought prices were a little high.

Bonnie Blue moved a few months back, and this was our first time at the new location. We love it! The new building is brighter, with a wall of windows overlooking the river, and there’s even a screened porch area with several tables—it was too hot for us to try that this time but we’re looking forward to it once the hottest part of summer is over.

Well, the restaurant is in a nice area with great views but my experience was bad. Once we entered there is a sign that says wait to be seated and we waited for about ten minutes, I noticed the restaurant wasn’t full and waitresses were walking back and forth but not acknowledging us wanting to dine. So I called the restaurant phone and told whoever answered we are here waiting to be seated and then someone came to seat us. The starters we ordered were great, firecracker shrimp, fried calamari and fried crab legs were all hot and tasted great. But our entree’s were horrible. I ordered the catfish with coleslaw, hush puppies, fries and added a side of Gouda grits. The catfish was hot but bland with no taste. The fries were old and cold, I didn’t get the hush puppies, I guess they forgot the meal came with them. The Gouda grits were not my taste but the seasoning in it was so strong I used the Gouda grits on top of my catfish to give it taste. My daughter ordered a plain cheeseburger with fries with ketchup on the side. The burger was cold and seemed old and the cheese wasn’t melted down on the patty. She had old cold fries also and the ketchup wasn’t added on the side. After the disappointment from the entrees we didn’t want a dessert. I paid the waitress Ronnie (young red head lady) and I told her about our disappointments and she offered to refund us some money but I just wanted to leave. She told me to just ask for her the next time we come.

Best restaurant in Bainbridge in the category of a nice sit-down meal. Top-notch food for prices that are cheaper than other restaurants that are nice sit down meals. I feel like every other place like this either charges way too much for the quality of food that they have or their food just sucks. Definitely a good place for date nights or to celebrate something. It’s especially nice now that it’s by the river and has the outdoor area for when it’s not blistering hot.

Perfect comfort food! Great service and very clean! Our first time. Fried mushrooms best I’ve ever had ! Really good local beer also! Walkers stout was really good! Just good comfort food done slightly higher than you would expect!

This is a fun place to hang for an evening. We brought a large group (10+) and the waitress did a great job of handling our large party and we got our food impressively quickly. The food is was good. You can expect a standard sports bars type menu. I had higher hopes for the burger but it was a bit more done than I ordered. It was still tasty and with our large group order, sort of to be expected. All in all, it was a good place for a large group dinner.

This review is really about one menu item. Other times I’ve been there ,things have been very good. Ordered Hamburger steak. Received a processed meat patty that was too salty to eat. Think TV Dinner Salisbury steak. I don’t got to a nice sit down restaurant to be served a bad TV dinner.
