Everything was great until I ordered take out for my daughter. You can plainly see that her ground meat was burned

UPDATE: These pictures are about 4 years old. I also don’t believe they serve breakfast anymore. It wasn’t advertised well to keep it going, but I wish they still had it. It beat the crowds of the other breakfast joints and the breakfast was pretty good! Recently ate breakfast here. The breakfast used to taste great (the brisket was lacking flavor as well as the saugage gravy). You can’t beat the price and the amount of food you get. Overall I would give Bonfires 4.5 stars.

Pretty good barbecue with generous portions and good sides. The most interesting part of the menu would be the starters, as they’ve got quite a selection (even frogs’ legs). Open to the outside, so if it’s muggy and hot outside, it’s not going to be much different inside. Friendly staff, but just one person had to cover all the tables and the bar, it seemed, so service was a bit slow. Will check it out again when it’s cooler outside.

The bathrooms were very dirty and smelly and hot. I hope the kitchen is clean. The five dollar hamburger special on Wednesday nights was good but the french fries were completely burnt. I would suggest getting the tater tots. Bingo was very fun.

The food isn’t bad but service was slow and they made mistakes with the sides. Also the food didn’t come out hot. I got the brisket and while it was good there are definitely better places for brisket. We were here for Thursday night trivia and that was pretty fun! Plus the servers were nice. I probably wouldn’t come again unless I was coming for a specific event.

The service was excellent. It dropped off from there. Stopped in for lunch and was greeted by a lone bartender/server who was more than gracious and attentive. Ordered the chicken wings and a brisket sandwich. The wings were O.K. at best. They weren’t raw but could have used a bit more time on the grill to crisp and make them palatable. As for the brisket sandwich, take a hard NO on this offering. Five slices of bland, barkless dry beef. I’m not even sure this was brisket, as it was too lean and dense. Not at all a good choice.

Do NOT come here for the barbecue. The brisket was not smoked, nor barbecued, but placed under a broiler. With NO seasoning, or barbecue sauce. It was the worst brisket I’ve ever had. The fries weren’t even good. Come for the bar experience if that’s what you’re looking for, but don’t come here to get dinner.

Breakfast was amazing. With so much competition in this area for breakfast. I just wanted to give bonfires credit for bringing it. Service was good, large portions. Reasonable pricing. Our new go-to place for breakfast.

Tl;Dr Decent food, great service, good atmosphere if you can handle the smell of cigarette smoke.

The worst breakfast we’ve ever had. We couldn’t eat it and took the eggs home for our dog. The eggs were cold. The cheese was not melted at all. The breakfast potatoes had so many onions that you couldn’t taste the potatoes. The server seemed disinterested.
