This Bon Chon location is different from the ones I’ve been to in NYC. This location is set up like a fast food restaurant. You order and pick up the food from the counter. There’s no wait staff and you clean your table yourself.

I am disappointed This place (was) so good. I would brag to my buddies about their “Crack” chicken and how it tasted so delicious. Before the size of the tenders were two fingers wide and about 4 inches long. Sad to say now though, that the size of the portions are smaller(about the size of nuggets) and the chicken is harder. I will not be going back to this location and hope the new location by me opens up soon.

Chicken combo wasn’t bad, but pickled radish was soft like a sliced raw potatoes unlike being crispy which was so bad. In case you have such experience, make sure to say it must be crispy before hanging up your phone when you order chicken.

My overall experience with this Bonchon in Leonia, NJ was excellent. The total time from placing the order until being handed my take-out order was 12 minutes. My order was for 30 Soy-Garlic wings. I wouldn’t let the sauce name fool you, these wings were crisped perfectly and lightly tossed in Soy-Garlic that has mild sweetness only experienced with Korean recipes. I’ve eaten thousands of chicken wings over my lifetime and I would happily rank their Soy-Garlic within my top 3 best wings of all time. If…the size of the wings were slightly larger, I believe they would be ranked number 1 on my all-time list hands down. I would even go so far to say best in the United States. I do not have experience eating any other food at this restaurant. My 5 star review is based strictly on their chicken wings and customer service.

Used the curb side pick-up, received text message said it’s ready, we arrived and used the link in the text to notify the store our arrival. Surprisingly after 20 minutes no food delivery we were literally in front of the store!! We then called the store but was told “we have no people to deliver to the curbside” and asked us to come in to pick up. What? Totally understaffed or bad excuse. Bad delivery management since they can also call us to apologize and inform us the situation. Chicken is good, although pricey, because of the unnecessary waiting time and bad management they got two stars from me.

Because of the pandemic we couldn’t eat in, so I ordered myself for pickup. Lady in cash register was kind in explaining some items I didn’t know what they were. I ordered Medium strips (20 pieces) at $22.95 + Caesar salad and K. Coleslaw, everything totalled $38aprox. Chicken strips taste? amazing (they fry it in Soy oil)

We ordered the chicken katsu and some pot stickers / dumplings. The food took longer than expected and the chicken was pretty dry and overcooked. The dumplings didn’t taste too fresh, really hard around the edges but the flavor wasn’t bad. I haven’t tasted anything else on the menu so it might be good. They were clean, and made you put your card/money in a tray so theres no hand off which is good during a pandemic. But if you’re looking for some good katsu, I’d try somewhere else.

Oh man total disappointment………. the size of the chicken was HORRIBLE and should be considered meatless. I have ordered the same many times before and this time was totally different in size. The best part of tonight’s family meal from here was the pickled radish (moo). If this is what we can expect, I will pass on this as this place used to be better.

My go to place for Korean fried chicken takeout. Really friendly staff and great chicken, what more do you want. Can’t go wrong coming here, never had a bad experience. Parking out front, safe, and clean during a pandemic.

Taste is OK. Take too long to pic up even nobody at store. A little bit pricy. Asked for receipt, but the lady in the counter said that the receipt is deleted. ???? Interesting. After that she gave me a kitchen order print out for receipt without any store information.
