I did not eat here my review is only about customer service and presentation.
I went in there to pick up food for a client. The place looks really nice. No heavy food smell which is great dor those who have sensitive noses. I didn’t like that the staff didn’t know that the mussel pancakes weren’t in the kitchen BUT they cooked everything fresh so that is understandable. Very polite and they have their kids taking orders which is really cute for a family business.
I think I will give this place a try for myself.

The place was very neat and well decorated. It made the mood very nice. The food was delicious! My husband and I had the Pad Thai with Chicken, Pepper Steak, and the Puffs. We enjoyed ourselves and will return soon!

Have eaten here several times. My wife LOVES this place. I’m not super crazy about Thai food but this place is helping change my mind. Extensive menu and I’ve never had a bad meal here. Nice quiet atmosphere and very good service as well.

We are quite inexperienced with Thai food so we were a little nervous trying this place out, but the reviews do not lie. The atmosphere is great, great music, quiet and good for conversation, amazing server. And food was out of this world! Stir fried broccoli is a winner. Definitely would recommend!

Excellent food, tender chicken, my curry fried rice had great flavor and just the right amount of heat. Prompt service. The restaurant is well lit and quiet enough to have a conversation. The Wall mural is nice. Probably the best in the area.

Service was wounderful. The venue is charming. Our food was excellent! Crab rangoon and egg rolls were hot an crispy. The green curry well seasoned and had a calm kick to it. Looking forward to my next visit.

The food is delicious, but the business itself is ran poorly. You’ll probably have to call multiple times for anybody to answer, you’ll have to put up a fight if your order is wrong or you don’t like it, and don’t expect them to remember who’s next to seat…… but the pad thai is rather amazing most of the time so I tough it out.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Bonafide before, and today wasn’t a *bad* experience, just a little annoying.
I specifically picked a dish with eggplant. It was red curry, and had an asterisk next to it stating that it is available when Thai eggplant is in season. I asked our waiter – who professed to being new – if it was in season, he said it was so I ordered it.
While digging into the awesome red curry, I realized there was no eggplant. It was half devoured by the time our waiter made it back to us to ask how our meal was. I explained that it was great but was missing the eggplant. He apologized and said “at least it’s about $3 cheaper” and that they would “get it right next time”.
That wasn’t the point. The point was that I was looking forward to eggplant.
Better luck next time? I hope so.

It’s one of best Thai Restaurant in Bloomington, IL. Food, Service and ambience is awesome 🙂
Our favorite server is neth, she is very attentive n knows the what customer needs. We love this place, wish they could carry more collection of wine and liquor. However, it’s one of the best Thai restaurant in town to visit.

Very poor service. I was seated then had to wait for what seemed like forever for someone to come and take a drink order. Not even an acknowledgement. I ordered a hot tea and egg rolls. After about 5 minutes I asked how long the tea would take. The servers response was rude and we almost walked out. Husband calmed me down and I ordered chicken panang and asked to add vegetables. When my food came it was vegetable panang no chicken. No apology or anything. Food is great sad that the service is so poor.
