Had an amazing meal at Bombay Kitchen! We ordered the butter chicken, shahi paneer, naan, rice, and chicken tikka, and every dish was packed with flavor.
The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced — easily one of the better ones I’ve had in Vancouver. The shahi paneer was smooth and comforting with just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The chicken tikka was tender, juicy, and nicely charred, and the naan came out fresh. The rice was fluffy and complemented everything well.
Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to when I’m craving solid Indian food in Vancouver. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit, so we still have many things to try, but everything we ordered was amazing. The mango salad was the real surprise dish, and balanced my other choices nicely. Chicken Saag, Alu Gobi, butter Masala Paneer, Mushrooms Malai were all excellent, and the garlic naan filled out the meal perfectly. Lots of great choices on the bread bar.
They cook a lot of dishes in a clay oven, which gives great flavor. Even the Chai was lovely. All serve sizes were generous, and the price points were appropriate and affordable.
The service was warm and inviting, and the dining room is average in size but very lovely.
A must try for anyone finding themselves in the Commercial Drive area.

Overall very satisfying experience we had here. We came here in Vancouver from Ontario on a business trip and came in this restaurant for lunch. The ladies who attended us were very patient and helpful and with their guidance, we had a sumptuous lunch there. The ambience was calm and quiet. Quality of food was really impressive. We ordered two “Thali” for us (2 adult and 1 kid) and the amount of food was more than sufficient for us.

In a time when it feels like quality is slipping while prices keep climbing, it was refreshing to dig into a meal and genuinely say, “Wow, this is really good.”
From the goat soup appetizer to the generous slabs of garlic naan and the healthy serving of lamb korma with jasmine rice — everything was flavourful, rich, and satisfying. The portions were generous without feeling excessive, and every dish felt intentional.
We topped it off with a couple of mocktails and a mango key lime pie with a coconut crust that sealed the deal.
We’ll definitely be back — and we’re coming hungry.

Visited this place 3rd time . Absolutely amazed with taste . New management changed dishes into proper authentic indian style . Loved it . Went with group of 15 people, everyone gave a big thumbs up to this restaurant. Service was good . Navish as usual was very Nice & drinks and food recommendation was 10/10 . Chef jasveer also made sure that food was prepared as per our modifications.

We visited the Bombay Kitchen and Bar today. The service was very kind and professional. Staff were quick and attentive and the dishes came out rather quick. The samosa chaat was delicious; so many different flavours in one dish. It was mouth watering. The Lamb Kormas gravy was very tasteful. The lamb was nicely made and very soft. The mango Lassi was tasty but warm, nothing ice couldn’t fix which made it delightful. Another favourite was the garlic naan. Made to perfection in the tandoor(clay oven) with the right amount of crispness and flavours. The fish pakoras batter was so nicely created with amazing seasoning, spices and crispiness but I found a small amount of fish in the centre. Something different we found was the butter chicken. It was so different than what we are used to… and in a good way. The gravy was well put together with a rich texture and the combination of spices and masala’s were mixed perfectly. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!
