Got the hot whiting platter. It was good. Huge portion of fish but not much as far as the sides go. These kinds of wonder bread sandwiches always confuse me. You can’t actually eat them like a sandwich because the bread melts. I’m not from the south so I’m not used to it. Be forewarned, when they say spicy, they mean it! I enjoyed the experience but I’m not sure if I’d go back. Not because anything was wrong per se, but it just wasn’t my type of thing.

Classic Nashville spot. I have gone here a few times and have enjoyed the food. However, it is over shadowed by many other hot chicken locations in the city in terms of quality, flavor, and price. Today was especially disappointing as the chicken was not cooked properly. I got a breast quarter but it was extremely over cooked. Dry and dark. And the worst part is, the inside between the batter was actually under cooked as seen in the photo. Side portions are much too small. Fries lacked seasoning, but slaw was good.

I got the wings, quarter leg, catfish and fries at medium spice. For the best value, I think the quarter leg is best because the wings were really skinny and cost $13. All the chicken and and catfish was really juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy and salty.

My best friend and I came here after looking up best hot chicken on Reddit and holy hell this place was AMAZING!! Genuinely a true gem in Nashville. The server who helped us was incredibly helpful, describing everything on the menu and recommending spice levels. I typically am a medium spice level, so I got the lite mild spice on his recommendation and it was PERFECT. I also got the fries and Mac and cheese which were fire! This restaurant is a MUST eat for your trip in Nashville

Sheesh what a disappointment!!! Visiting from Houston and was recommended this place and wow. Showed up around 6:30 pm on a Saturday. Person taking the order was a slightly rude when we were ordering. Cut us off when ordering to tell us there is no more fish and only one breast quarter left. How?? On a weekend?? Ok.. I said fine, I’ll take that last chicken breast hot. My wife got the tenders because.. how can you mess up tenders?? Those were fine I guess. Got my food and was VERY disappointed! The spice was actually the best part of it. But the chicken was pure gristle and tasted like something that had been frozen for six months that they dug out of the freezer (see photo). Should have just gone back to Haddie B’s!

We came here on a recommendation. It did not disappoint! The man helping us knew it was our first time and explained everything really well. I typically am a high spice level. I got the lite mild spice on his recommendation because you can add more if needed but I did not need! I got the whitefish sandwich and had 1/2 the fish left over. It was not greasy at all and the fish was juicy as well as my husbands chicken. Mac n cheese was the best I’ve had in Tennessee. Highly recommend!!

This place is a must try! We only ended up coming here since our other choice was closed, but this turned into a happy surprise. No one was able to try the hottest level and the medium had a couple of people sweating. This a great choice for Nashville Hot!

Food decent, didn’t sit well afterwards with both me and my friend. Chicken tenders were good but just had a dry spice on it, not much special for “Nashville hot” chicken.
A bit pricey, $22 each for meal + drink.
Quick service, cool place but question the sanitary, probably won’t go back.

Had the tenders (lite mild) and the fish (lite) and was very delicious with the green beans and mac and cheese. Next time I’d get the fish again and probably the chicken wings in lite or mild lite. Friendly local service

The food was decent, but the sides were very small portions. I spent $27 and left hungry. The value was not there.
I’m glad I tried it but will probably never go back. The venue was small.
