Glad they open at La Conner! I’ve been to Bobas chowder at Anacortes, it was a great experience. Attended this new restaurant last week, I ordered grilled cod and clam chowder, both are tasty. I pretty impressed with their grilled cod, that was juicy and the seasoning make it even better.

Took a little trip to La Connor for the day to catch some time in the sun. Stopped in to try some of the fish and chips and they were awesome. The special lemon sauce they have was really good with the fish and sweet potato fries. A must if you are in town!!!

This was our first visit and we will never go back. My husband ordered the Clam strips and chips and what he got was mostly fries, the strips were soggy, and had no flavor. I had the Salmon and salad. The salmon was barely warm, the skin was still attached and didn’t have much flavor. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and the temps were cold. We were very disappointed.

Great to see a local business growing! Stopped in the new location with a friend for a meal the other day, we shared the salmon with salad and some fish and chips, both of which were great! Bob himself was there and made rounds of the tables and asked how our meal was. Will definitely be back!

The view outside was great, but…. I hate to give these types of reviews. We ordered food for two people and waited a little over an hour for our first plate. After waiting another 20 minutes we went inside to ask where the other half of the order was? We were told it was coming. Waited another 10 minutes and went back inside.The young girl went onto a table with what looked like throw out food from tables and gave us a cold plate. She didn’t even apologise, and just hands us a plate that was probably sitting on someone else’s table. Not what your expecting when you gave a 20% tip at ordering. You can only assume the system that management has set up has failed miserably, the people that left before us told us that they messed up their order twice.

Most satisfied with this place! Chowder? Check! BarBQ salmon? Check! A guy names Bob? Check! He is the owner and he was there cooking on the outdoor barBQ (and cleaning it at the end of the night). Really nice family that runs this place – Bob’s wife Barbara helped my family and made us feel at home. She changed the kid’s menu to accomodate our 5 year old’s taste, and made me an ‘off the menu’ coffee to go. The food and home-made salad dressings were fantastic, and the kids loved picking their seashell at the end of dinner. We’d go back for sure!

Worst service I have ever received at a restaurant!!!!!!!! Waitress was rude, mean and condescending. Her attitude was atrocious! When bringing it up to the manager he didn’t seem to care at all. Will never return and wish I could give them 0 stars! Don’t waste your money at this restaurant as there are many restaurants with friendly staff and good food in La Conner.

I had oysters at this place . Oyster were ok didn’t get my fries with my order. Ask for fries waited for 10 mins never got them or any refund for paying for fries. When i was at the table never got ask for a refill on my drink. Never coming back here.
