Been skeptical on going, but seen a local reviewer Loco Eats try the new sandwiches. So I decided to stop in for something different. Unfortunately it was too different for me. The cashier was very nice and friendly. Now for the food. What I’ve noticed is more places only having refried beans. As a personal preference, I absolutely do not like refried beans on a burrito. It’s a paste that overpowers the other flavors. So when I ordered the Fiesta Chicken Burrito I opted to not get the beans. Which made the burrito smaller, of course. Which I had expected. Now as a retired chef I know the difference between char and burnt. A very fine line. What you want is the Maillard crust. A golden smokey flavor. The flavors were there. Which was a good melody. And the char didn’t take over the rest of the other ingredients, but was present. Which I know some people like. I don’t remember any cheese nor tasting the sour cream. But I did see the sour cream in there. Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the spot. But I ordered the new Flame Grilled Chicken Grillbite. (Now just in case, I know it says flame grilled, but so is El Pollo Loco where the char is less present to the rest of the flavor) This sandwich is what I was referring to when I referenced overpowering the other flavors. But what made it worse was partially my fault for not asking, because I didn’t ask about the beans. But I had no clue they use American cheese on their sandwiches. Now, this is a no way for me. Again, personal preference. But Jack cheese, Muenster, provolone maybe, but what I seen was American, and either white American or the Swiss cheese Subway uses. Which both do not go with the flavors of the sandwich. The other flavors from the onion, bell pepper, jalapeno and serrano peppers and the seasoning on the chicken was nice, unfortunately the cheese and char took over everything. You had to search for the other flavors. The bottom bun was so soggy by the time I drove a 1/2 mile home. I had such hopes, as well as reservations about this place. Now that being said, it is personal preference. But after cooking for so long, you kind of know what you like don’t like, and what is good and what isn’t. Because they were nice I feel bad with this review. But I am honest. I just know my pallette is different than Loco Eats. I hope it was just me. But try watching Guga or Guga Foods on YouTube about grilling to get a perfect maillard reaction instead of overpowering burnt. Overall, I didn’t eat the bottom bun of the Grillbite because of the cheese, and powered through the burnt. The burrito I finished because it was smaller from the lack of beans and the char wasn’t heavily presented. The bell pepper adds such a nice flavor to both, unfortunately when one flavor takes over the rest, there is no reason for the other ingredients. Like having so mush spice, you only taste the spice. Overall impression is great concept, but not for everyone. Char lovers dream. Grillbite was nice and heavy. A full chicken thigh too.

Scoring: 0-4’s =not worth going/ 5-6’s =try it, but I warned you basically average can get anywhere possibly better 7’s =Go try it once and tell a family member or close friend 8’s =Get there now and try it you’ll want it again tell random people when talking about places to go eat 9’s =find a way there it is a must to try before you die or it goes away share on social media 10 =almost impossible, this means orgasmic, don’t tell anyone keep this gem to yourself until you want to impress a boss or fellow foodie.

The sohal burrito bowl is AMAZING! Along with the Blue Lagoon Lotus. I loved it with asada, the meat was tender and literal grilled steak. And not for a bad price at all. It was my first time going this weekend and I will be coming back! Love it.

I came about an hour before closing and they didn’t have any food options. Apparently had run out. The drink menu was very diverse, including Boba drinks, coffee, milkshakes, ice cream, shaved iced, and others. The wait was about 30 minutes for 2 drinks. I ordered the sohal lotus and although they were a generous size the flavor just wasn’t it for me. Excited to try the other drink options. Just be prepared to fight for parking and wait around a bit.

The food is fresh and so flavorful. Salsas are good too! Fast and convenient without sacrificing quality. Great place if you’re on the go and craving a burrito, coffee or boba.

Wonderful iced espresso. My breakfast burrito was made to my desires and it was a generous size. Made fresh. Its takes a bit longer but well worth any wait longer than at a fast food place. Service was so friendly and she made the food as I ordered. I will be returning soon!! Deserves a five star review!! There is not a lot of atmosphere but there was a nice cool breeze at the outdoor table while I waited.

These burritos are sooo good I recommend if you want a big burrito with fresh products this is the place its right in my neighborhood and when I say they are good I mean chunks of sausage bacon everything on it amazing order it with everything I promise you wont regret it!!!

Best coffee I’ve had , and I’m a coffee drinker . Their food is very delicious , I love grilled chicken and their food just put them on the map !
