We got the new fried chicken, I liked it, very saucy and crispy. The rolls were packed w flavor and sauce. I am a self declared saucy sushi gal when I want and they delivered. Loved the crispy bits on the one. Started w veggie tempura and that could make me a vegetarian if I could have that daily.

Top notch cuisine! Friendly and patient staff. Excellent presentation! A very nice place for a quality meal. Only 4 stars because of hard chairs and fussy men’s bathroom soap dispenser and light is on the outside. Weird, older building quirk I guess. We had a great meal here! General Tao and Katsu was perfect. The side salad had a very nice ginger dressing that was very refreshing! Our two sushi rolls were very tasty as well. I look forward to dining here again. We’ll done!

Ordered 2 sushi rolls and fried rice. The sushi rolls were mostly cream cheese filled but our biggest disappointment was the friend rice which was more like fried onion with some rice, chicken, and veggies. If anyone orders fried rice ask for light or no onions. I had to take out some onion to be able to eat it.

I love Ozekis. For the longest time they held the crown as best sushi place in Yakima…their only competition was New York Teriyaki which is ok. But that was years ago, now there are many places that offer rolls and sushi of good quality. Ozeki is still a top two contender for the best, if not the best. They have been consistently serving great sushi for well over a decade.
They also serve Teriyaki and noodles, I have never taken an opportunity to eat sushi and spend it on Teriyaki instead but many friends do…this confused me but they enjoy what Ozeki offers. So, if your into Teriyaki more than sushi, this is a place to go!
I love the staff who over the years have gotten to know my family. The owners make it their business to make it a personable experience that will last years, not just the night. They are the best!
