It did Bob Evans as Bob Evans is. It’s disappointing that the service bar is no longer. It was a nice feature. The food was good, but there was a big piece of straight up fat mixed in. The mashed potatoes and carrots were the real draw and they were delicious as was the pot roast sans the extra chunk. The server was friendly, attentive and efficient – perfect.

I’m not sure what changed, but I have a feeling it is management, because Bob’s in New Philadelphia has been so much better these past couple of months. The service and the food were both top-notch. I hadn’t been there in at least a year because the previous management clearly struggled and service was terrible, and it just wasn’t worth going. I’m really glad I decided to give them another chance, because whoever is running it now definitely knows what they’re doing. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was great all around. I’ll definitely be back

We always loved Bob Evans Breakfast but upon going for breakfast sat March 7th very disappointing to find the breakfast menu no longer includes hash browns w some of their meals you now have to pay extra very disappointing!! Other than that food and service was good

Last time ordering from here. Ordered carryout a couple months ago, waited inside for 45 minutes after original pickup time. I get it, things happen. Manager gave us some gift cards which was generous. Same issue today. Food wasn’t ready until 30 minutes later than it was supposed to be. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry

Was told they just re-staffed the entire restaurant… Waited 35-40 mins for food with hardly anyone in the restaurant. Food came out and was not only NOT what was ordered but was cold. Didn’t want to wait again so agreed to accept the mixup. Charged for the more expensive meal rather than what was ordered. Not a good experience, will be going to the Dover location if going to Bob evans again..

We stopped in today 11/30 around 12:30 pm. When we walked in we were greeted by the hostess, Taylor M, very rudely. She asked us how many were in our party and we told her 7, 4 adults and 3 babies, she immediately told us “okay I’m going to put you guys on a waitlist” and my husband asked “how long is the wait?” She paused uncomfortably, stared, and then after a minute or so completely ignored his question. Then asked, “how many are there in your party?” We were all so confused and thrown off the way she ignored the question and gave us an attitude. We told her we had 7 people again and she said “I will let you know when your table’s ready.” And walked away. As we waited over 20 minutes we watched as at least 6 other parties were sat as soon as they walked in. We also observed this employee being loud and rude to her coworkers the entire time we waited. Normally I wouldn’t write a bad review but this young girl was an absolute day ruiner that led to us leaving and deciding to eat somewhere else. Hopefully we can prevent others from being treated with the same disrespect and save her coworkers from being talked to so negatively and aggressively.

We got take out for my mother in laws 91st birthday. My, husband, my mother in law and I all ordered the honey biscuit chicken dinner. None of us got the biscuit that was supposed to be included with the meal, no honey was included and the chicken was so dry and tough you could barely eat it. We were very disappointed in the quality of our meals. We’ve eaten there for years and have never had any issues with the quality of food before.
