My wife and granddaughter and I visited the restaurant last night. We had placed an order for two pizzas for dine-in. One large and one small. Unfortunately, the small pizza was overcooked and nearly burnt. The large pizza was only half correct. The other half was not what we had ordered. They attempted to rectify the situation by recooking the small pizza and preparing a small pizza for the incorrect portion. However, they charged us the full price for both pizzas.
I expressed my dissatisfaction to the person who collected the payment, but my concerns were completely ignored. He seemed indifferent and showed no remorse, no apology, and no willingness to offer a discount or show any respect.
This incident marks the worst experience we have ever had at this restaurant. We have been loyal customers for over 40 years and visit at least once a week. This particular visit was a complete disappointment.

It was slightly above mediocre. Definitely not worth $35 for 2 pizzas. 1 cheese pizza and 1 single topping pizza for $35? And NO CHEESE PULL!!! (See video)
I remember eating here as a child and they had good toppings and the taco pizza. Any place that has green olives gets a bonus star in the rating, but I won’t eat here again. It was just ok.

It was 57 degrees outside. The dining room was colder. It was like eating in a walk-in refrigerator. My pizza got cold after 2 minutes on the plate. The pasta was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I had to eat really fast so I could get outta there. I was so cold I couldn’t enjoy my meal.

Whole family grew up going to both alma and vb pizza parlours and never once had a bad experience. Today we ordered three medium pizzas, not to mention the wild price increases, just for the pizzas to be SMALLER. We got three small pizzas and I’m sure because we go get smalls all the time. We called back and the guy working said “they were mediums when we cut them.” So thanks ig. I used to struggle to eat a medium and now i’m still hungry 🙁 yummy tho

Bought three medium pizzas and they were really small. The Hawaiian pizza’s ham was either old or frozen for a long time cause it looked and tasted terrible. The pepperoni pizza was ok with half of the crust too hard and the sausage pizza was ok. I paid over 40 bucks for that. I grew up around here and usually like pizza parlour but that was absolutely the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I couldn’t tell if I was eating pizza or hardtact with toppings(nasty ham) on top.

I said I ordered the 2 for 1 & the guy RUDELY said the price of 1 pizza was $28!
I asked to buy 1 & he said $16.
I bought one for $16 to try it & I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
Gross ingredients & the fact that they tried to scam me will be told to everyone I ever discuss pizza with!

Newer to the area. Everyone told me to try this place out, as it is a “classic” and a hometown staple. They were not wrong. The pizza is not like what you would get at a chain, they are homemade brick oven pizzas-the best around. You can taste the quality ingredients, not found in the pizza you get from a chain. The staff were all kind and the service was quick. 10/10 experience and I will be a returning customer. Thank you Van Buren Pizza Parlour for having me

Although I love many different pizza places – Pizza Parlour on Alma Hwy. is my all-time favorite!! Not only is their pizza always hot and fresh, the guys that take my order have NEVER gotten it wrong (and I ALWAYS order specialty)!! Pizza Parlour might be pricier than the uber cheap Little Caesar’s Pizza or Geno’s Pizza, but even those comparable in price, like Pizza Hut, don’t compare in quality! Pair that with top-notch customer service (seriously, you can feel the good vibes emanating from the entire staff) and you have every reason to go to Pizza Parlour for all your pizza needs!!❤️

The pizza is the high-light, and the salad bar is also good. I’m not a fan of the pasta choices, and the bread sticks were hard. Drinks are generous, and the dining area was clean. The staff is friendly and very efficient.
