Well-known 24/7 mainstay offering classic diner fare such as sandwiches in an old-school setting.

A group of 16 showed up with no advance notice. Ashley (our server) and an aid quickly moved tables together so that we could sit together as a group. Ashley was an amazing server, quickly providing menus and beverages to everyone. The entire time, she remained engaged with us, providing beverage refills and checking to see that all of our needs were met.
A group of our size could have used at least 2 servers. Ashley was energized and smiling the entire time she managed the group with grace.
We enjoyed a good breakfast and a leisurely time of fellowship in a comfortable setting.
Our entire group endorses this restaurant.

Nice place. Quick service. Immediately had my order taken. It was originally open 24 hours everyday but not anymore because not a single person showed up during the weekdays, so it’s only 24 hours on weekends.
The food was great. Hash browns yum, home fries great! Eggs and bacon are amazing, especially on a burger, which is what I got! Great place!

The hospitality and food is out of this world. Everything tastes fresh. The biscuits taste flaky and freshly made, the coffee is refilled every 4-5 minutes, their sausage gravy omg is unbelievable, the blueberry hotcakes are phenomenal, the home fries are large chunks, you can definitely tell it’s all made fresh. This will be the best breakfast I’ve had in years and will continue to come here from now on AND they are open 24/7. The butter issue made this a 4 star rating. ***Bring your own butter, they only serve margarine***

Home cooking! Great flavors! Very busy Sunday at 11:00am. Took a while to get served at the counter, but the manager more than compensated for my wait! Fast service once I ordered! I will return! Great local find here in Manassas, VA!

Bob and Edith took over Five Guys at this location. The waitress was super nice and attentive. Food was good as usual compared to their other locations. If you are around, highly recommend to give it a try!

Great diner for breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and checked on us often. I had the country fried steak and eggs which was very good. My wife had chocolate chip pancakes with a side of home fries. Our food was great and definitely hit the spot.

Our server was very polite and great on the coffee refills, and the restaurant itself was clean and looked great with lots of news playing. But my food was terrible. I had pancakes and fried ham. I’m not sure how you make pancakes taste bad, but they were the worst pancakes I’ve ever eaten, and the ham was burnt to a crisp and salty as all get out. My wife’s omelette was good so I give a star for that but if you mess pancakes up that bad, I’ll never come back to a diner.

Finally visited Bob and Edith’s in Manassas yesterday. We were told we could sit anywhere. All the booths seem to have been used and needed a wipe down, so we chose one that had the least mess. Our server was friendly and did a great job of cleaning up our table without leaving it damp or wet.
Other members of the service team sat at the bar doing nothing while our server asked about tabel assignments related to the other booths that needed to be wiped down. His questions were met with shoulder shrugs and his response was a disappointing “not my problem”.
Our food took a little longer than expected for standard breakfast fare. The juice was not fresh squeezed and there was nothing particularly notable about our food when it arrived. The ambient temperature in the restaurant was a bit chilly and did cause our food to cool at our table very quickly.
After thinking the staff might just be lazy, I was surprised to see other members of the service team come by our table to clean up dishes and clear our check (all without asking).
I would recommend the manager visit some other nearby breakfast spots and see what they are doing and ask the tough questions about what other places are doing better. Rally the service team to understand the success of the restaurant is dependent on each of you and lead by example. Greet, clean, assist and hold the staff to the same high standards.
I want a diner that does breakfast to succeed in my neighborhood. I am only one person and I dont have time to visit enough to make a difference, but how and if this place improves will influence my decisions when I am available. I presume it would influence others that are more available also.

We ate here over the weekend. Food was cooked perfectly! My omelette was not greasy at all. My daughter said her biscuits were perfect. My boyfriend loved his grits, said they were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back!
