I had business in South Florida and had occasion to drive a little north to Stuart and found the amazing Boathouse! It is on the south side of the Treasure Coast in Stuart Downtown. We had fantastic food and great service. It is right on the Intracoastal and we would have sat outside except for the wind. I had coconut crusted Mahi. Very light coconut flavor and the risotto had a little heat. Big portion! Fish was cooked perfectly. My wife had overstuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon. In the tiny bite she grudgingly gave up I only tasted lump crab, no breading really. Our party also had cranberry walnut salad and real French onion soup. Our server was attentive and friendly and knowledgeable. Derek? I paid on a tablet and did not select paper receipts. I instantly got a text and empowers for $10 next visit! Everything and everyone was wonderful.

Very disappointed. First time here, with a 4.7 rating at the time of our visit. Don’t know who’s rating this place or based on what – certainly can’t be the food. Overrated, overpriced, small portions, poor quality. Arrived right about noon on a Sunday, and right from the start, there’s not even the ability to provide certain menu items. Margarita that’s on the menu: ‘we don’t have the listed tequila right now, so you can choose which tequila you want, for an up-charge, unless you want well tequila’ I’m sorry, but you can’t provide what’s on the menu, you make it right with a replacement that is equal or better quality for no up-charge. Ok, I’d like the seafood tower. Sorry, the lobster isn’t ready yet. At noon? One of your highlighted menu options can’t be ordered? We get the fried calamari – smallest portion I have ever seen at a restaurant, too much breading, over fried, dripping with oil, and the marinara in the paper sauce cup is more water than sauce. Poke bowl was good, but small, salmon roll was good. Fish sandwich, small and over fried. Mahi tacos – small tacos, and guacamole looked and tasted: not very fresh. Only pic I took because I really wasn’t planning on writing a review, but felt it was necessary towards the end. The picture actually makes the guac look better and more green than it was in person. It was a gray/brown. Fries were double, maybe triple fried and oily – terrible. Service was good, as well as the atmosphere, but unless you’re looking to overpay for crap food,I’d avoid it.

I wasn’t expecting much to be honest, but I was pleasantly surprised from the moment we were seated. Hostess actually read reservation notes and had our table with high chairs. We were greeted warmly by our waiter. JOHNNY was amazing. He was attentive and had great suggestions. Great up charge on the double Tito’s, husband approved :). Will return when we are back up in Stuart.

The food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. Our waitress was very friendly and did everything she could to make the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the overall service was slow—we waited a very long time for our dishes. We had seen reviews mentioning similar delays on Christmas Eve, but we assumed things would be smoother on a regular day. The atmosphere is nice, and if the weather cooperates, I highly recommend reserving a table on the patio—the views are wonderful. With some improvements to timing, this could be an outstanding dining experience.

First time at this waterfront bar/restaurant. Happy hour prices are great for the food you can get. We shared a California roll, steak & mushroom pizza and a prichuto & goat cheese pizza. All was delicious!! Devon was an excellent bartender, very friendly and efficient. Good selection of draft beers….and a really cool bar with flooring from the old bar.
