With snow gently falling outside, stepping into Bundu Khan felt like entering a warm heaven of authentic Pakistani flavors. The food was outstanding , rich in taste, perfectly spiced, and served hot and fresh, just the way comfort food should be.
The quality and quantity were both impressive, truly value for money. Every bite felt like a delicious reminder of home. The service was attentive and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the experience.
A perfect place to enjoy yummy, soul-satisfying Pakistani cuisine on a cold Chicago day. Highly recommended for anyone craving a hearty and delicious treat! ️ ️
We ordered the BBQ platter and Bihari kabab, which featured an assortment of tikkas, seekh kababs, and chicken tikka botis. Each item was exceptionally flavorful—beautifully marinated, perfectly spiced, and grilled to perfection. The seasoning struck a flawless balance: bold without being overwhelming. The puri parathas were also outstanding, reminiscent of what one would find back home in Karachi. The authenticity of the flavors transported us instantly—a rare and special experience in the U.S.
The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, blending traditional charm with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. It felt lively yet comfortable, making it a great setting to enjoy a hearty meal. The service was equally commendable—attentive, courteous, and genuinely hospitable, enhancing the overall dining experience.
We’re excited to return and try more items from their menu, and will update this review as we do. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking truly authentic Pakistani BBQ. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on a culinary experience that’s second to none.
Both the sandwiches were so flavorful and 5/5 in taste and flavor but Nihari was a bit off with only one over powering flavor which was nutmeg(jaifel)and nothing else, beef bihari kabab and chicken karahi were average too the staff is welcoming and helpful but they need to work in desi dishes.
The food was flavorful and perfectly prepared, especially the Malai Boti, which was outstanding. The welcoming staff was professional and polite, making the experience even better. The overall atmosphere made the trip completely worthwhile, and we would happily make the drive again for such delicious food.
