Social Profile:

The Boardy Barn is OFFICIALLY, PERMANENTLY *CLOSED* : To our beloved family, employees, customers, partners and community: Mickey Shields and Tony Galgano first opened the barn doors on April 16, 1970. From that day forward, the Boardy Barn became better and more unique the moment each of you passed through those doors. We are deeply grateful for the memories we hold in our hearts. It is true that we have sold the property located at 270 West Montauk Highway Hampton Bays, effective May 5th, 2022. We wish the new owners all the best as they work to determine what the property will become. We invite you to stay connected on social media so we can keep the memories alive. Don’t Stop Believin’ And….KEEP A GOOD THOUGHT!! The Barn

Tons of fun. Not quite the original Boardy Barn… but still a ton of fun. They’ve tried to recreate the atmosphere…. some of the staff came back. It’s got potential. But need to run beer specials.

If you are out east on a Sunday and not going here, what are you doing?

I’m lucky enough to be a fill-in DJ here. There is nowhere more fun than this place! It’s an iconic landmark and has seen generations of guests celebrate the longest running happy hour on Long Island!! If you like beer, go here! 🙂

My friends and I got there around 12:30 and waited upwards of 3 hours to get in because the bouncers kept letting people cut the line. Once at the front of the line we noticed groups of 10+ were allowed to walk in with no wait (I assumed they paid off the workers), and when asked about it the bouncers had major attitude. It was fun once we got in, but honestly with the $30 cover and $5+ drinks, I would say save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Well, not much to say other than I picked up one of the kids here. It’s exactly how you remember it: barely memorable in both your alcoholic brain and in it’s scenery and image. It’s a basic barn to drink and get loaded. Plenty of drunk people in the parking lot embarrassing themselves. You go there for a specific thing and nothing more, be warned. Keep smiling

Great outdoor area. Live DJ playing back to back classics. Beer is super cheap for the island costing only $3. Very friendly environment. The line to get in was crazy long though as were lines to the bathrooms. Great place to spend a day.

Such a fun place, it’s the go-to spot on Sundays. $20 admission except for Memorial Day and Labor Day when admission is $40. $3 beers, $4 Floyd’s seltzer, & $1 hotdogs; everything is cash only. Just make sure you wear shoes/clothes that you don’t care about. Most friendly staff ever!
