The owner was less than interested in helping us order wine from the extensive list. He walked away during our order, then only served two of us (yet there were 3 people) because he ran out of the wine we ordered. He was really rude/odd and completely uninterested in our table yet; we were one of only two tables occupied. We didn’t like the wine and when we asked if we could switch to a better wine he said, “No that wine is too young for me to drink”! A very strange experience and with a tiny bit of enthusiasm we could have really enjoyed this place. I gave it 3 stars because our salads were delicious.

We had a nice dinner, and when we were ready for the check, the owner came to the table and said “287 – do you want to split it 3 ways?”. In the bustle of handing him our 3 credit cards, we didn’t really focus on the amount, and he never handed us a bill. Only after we paid did we start doing the math in our head and realized it was way too high. One of my friends went back to him and asked if there was a mistake, and he looked over the “bill” on his tablet and said “no, it all adds up”. We thought this was odd, so my other friend went back for a second time and asked for a printed copy of the bill. The owner (lied and) said it wasn’t possible to retrieve it. Luckily, my friend is an experienced waiter and he knew that was a lie. The owner kept trying to come up with excuses as to why it was too late to review the bill, and finally my friend got a menu and added up all the items we ordered, and we discovered that we were overcharged by over $150. The owner finally handed us back $150 in cash, but with no apology. If you decide to eat at this restaurant, ask for a copy of the bill, or at least do the math in your head before you turn over your credit cards like we foolishly did. If he had made an honest mistake I wouldn’t be writing this review, but it appears he was intentionally trying to steal from customers. 🙁

Came here precocovid and loved this place. They had great wine, lots to selection from and they were just starting to serve food. Fast forward a year or 2 more and I came for a visit last night. Like I said its been a while since I’ve been here. The service was great, the food looked amazing, but we just came for the wine. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable on the selection that he picked. What an amazing glass of Cab! So tasty! Will be coming back soon. The restaurant is super clean, everything is spaced out. Hand sanitizer everywhere, outdoor seating if you like. Very happy to see they have serviced covid!

A restaurant looking for it’s identity. Very odd feeling to the place. Not family friendly at all. Food was pedestrian at best. Louisiana hot chicken was more similar to buffalo chicken. I am from the gulf coast area and it was not Louisiana hot sauce based.

Amazing as always! Charles and Joanne put on such an amazing spread every day! Always the freshest ingredients and tastiest food. We always have a cheese and meat board and a Fab Four Flatbread ontop of the amazing salads and specials. They have a great selection of ales and wine which I appreciate. Can’t say enough good things. They now have tables and chairs outside spaced appropriately and their safety and cleanlines protocols are top notch!

Super friendly staff. The owners are actually working the bar and dining room so that tells me they have a vested interest in the success of their business. Nice wine and beer selections. All the dishes look super fresh and made from scratch. Can’t wait for my beet salad to arrive. I will definitely return!
