I went there last night with my husband. Before covid this was our go to spot for food, atmosphere and service. This restaurant used to be packed and a great night out. I couldn’t believe going there last night. We went in at 6:30 on a Friday night and there were 2 cars in the parking lot and 1 other table in the restaurant. There was 1 waitress working, who was very nice but was wearing a zip up hoodie and an ear bud while serving the 2 tables in the place. There was also 1 cook working so clearly they knew the restaurant would be empty. My husband got a steak which he used to love when we used to go. He said the steak used to be his favorite steak ever. Last night’s steak could have been served at a diner and for nearly $60 it was so disappointing. When we went to pay our gift card wouldn’t go through so the waitress had to call the manager on the phone then had us talk to him on the phone to explain why they should take the gift card. I couldn’t even believe it and it was so unprofessional on the management. What a disappointing night out going to a place that used to be so lively and delicious. Bluewater Seafood absolutely exceeded expectations. From the first bite, it was clear this place takes food seriously. The Tuna Duo appetizer was phenomenal, fresh, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor. The coconut shrimp was crisp, lightly sweet, and cooked just right, making it hard not to order another round.

The goat cheese salad with pears was a standout as well, a perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and subtly sweet that felt both refreshing and indulgent. For the main courses, everything impressed. The Chilean sea bass was buttery, tender, and flawlessly cooked. The surf and turf delivered on both fronts with high quality seafood paired with a perfectly cooked steak. The ribeye was juicy, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully.

The service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience even better. This place truly feels like a tiny gem, and we will definitely be back to support it.

I had a dinner on Thursday Feb 19 at 6:05 PM Order 1b, unfortunately It was the worst experience I have ever had because: 1- the restaurant has only four guests me& my wife and another couple and I didn’t recognize in the spot why the restaurant was empty 2- all staff working are two guys one in the kitchen and the other is the waiter 3- there was no heat in the restaurant asked the waiter to increase the heat said you’re feeling cold because you’re sitting beside the windows!!! But it seems like the heat is not working because he didn’t increase it! 4- all food was not good at all the Soup, appetizer , salad and even the main dish we didn’t even touch the soup and the appetizer and he took them back 5- the waiter doesn’t have any idea which items should be delivered first he delivered the appetizer before the soup and the salad and delivered the salad before the soup!! 6- because there’s no enough staff they took very long time to deliver the food as we spent more than two hours in the restaurant to have our dinner! I will never go anymore to this restaurant and I don’t recommend this restaurant at all to anyone

This was definitely one and done. We were recommended this place so gave it a try today for lunch. Crab cake was filler based. All the items on New England were topped with breadcrumbs and did not have a fresh flavor. Paella was ok but profiled more as a risotto.

This restaurant serves the finest food in the area. I myself ordered a steak and was surprised at the thickness of it, yet alone that first taste , out of this World
Small place, I missed the driveway first attempt, it’s on the south side of the building, right off Rt. 18 North.
The seafood was slammin’ and worth every penny.

Observing Lent never tasted so good.

The seafood is not only fresh, but prepared to perfection. I managed to get one picture of the raw bar tuna but the food was so good I couldn’t stop eating long enough to take another picture.

The fra diovolo was perfectly seasoned and the pasta underneath the copious amounts of mussels, clams, scallops, and shrimp was perfectly al dente.

We have eaten here numerous times over the years and I’m finally giving a review. We started off with the coconut shrimp and clams on the half shell. Both were terrific and the clams were really fresh with some great strong horseradish. Next we both had the spicy buffalo scallop salad, something I’ve enjoyed here since I 1st had it over 15 years ago. The only knock was that it was slightly over dressed with the balsamic dressing. The scallops were cooked perfectly and delicious. For dinner, yes we over ordered which we tend to here, we had the stuffed scallops with a lobster risotto and the Scottish salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly, moist and fall apart tender with a crispy potato crust. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto was absolutely delicious. Yes we had leftovers to take home, but we can’t help ourselves when ordering here. There’s a reason why we have been patrons for years, the food is not only fresh but cooked perfectly. The service was great and we had no issues at all. We will absolutely continue to go back.

I ordered the swordfish and it was sub-par. I have had it here before and it was great. The place was surprisingly empty and the manager / owner was a really nice friendly person who also served us. The shrimp parmigiana was really tasty. And the lobster bisque was a very generous portion but I would rather less for a lower price.

I went to the Blue Water Seafood restaurant for the very first time for a friend’s birthday dinner. I gave 5 stars for the food because the food was amazing. The portions are HUGE!
However, I gave 3 stars for the service. When our party first arrived, there weren’t a lot of customers when we got there. Our waiter was very pleasant and professional, but he kept taking our orders individually and submitting them to the kitchen individually. Yes, you read that correctly. I’ve never seen anything like it and we were a party of 10. Suffice to say, it took a while for us to get from appetizers to the main course. Overall I would recommend the restaurant based on the food. Also, it is BYOB (“bring your own bottle” of alcohol)

I’m writing to express how disappointed we were with the catering service provided last Saturday. When we spoke beforehand, you clearly told me that the trays would be “full to the brim.” Unfortunately, that was not the case.

When the food arrived, several trays were noticeably underfilled. The trays of potatoes were so low you could actually see the bottom — and for something that should have been one of the heaviest and fullest trays, that was unacceptable. The penne tray was barely halfway filled, and the chicken Francese wasn’t much better. The only tray that seemed properly filled was the linguine.

What made this even more frustrating is that potatoes and penne are not expensive items to prepare, so there’s really no reason those trays should have been skimped on. We were told to expect full trays, and that promise simply wasn’t honored.

We were extremely disappointed—not only with the portions but with the lack of honesty and communication. We trusted your word, and what was delivered did not match what was promised. This experience was both frustrating and embarrassing given that we relied on your assurances for our event.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and ensure that future customers receive what they are told to expect.
