What a nice surprise dinner at Blue Violet was. All of the dishes had a creative flair showing the chef’s personality. Mha Waff and I shared 3 small plates and a large plate and enjoyed each of them. The braised short rib was extremely tender. The sauce on the mussels was savory and slightly spicy, but the real star was the roasted cauliflower. Delish! We plan to return.

Hands down, one of the BEST Manhattan cocktails I’ve ever had. I had an AWESOME experience meeting a great friend and mentor for cocktails and dinner. The BV Burger was AMAZING and our server and bartender, Riley made it a fun and memorable experience.

Simply perfect. Beautiful bar and dining room, efficient and attentive staff, the food was out of this world delicious and you MUST have them make you a manhattan! I had the beet salad with goat cheese and the swordfish. Spot on. Spouse had roast cauliflower and the burger. Could not be happier. Folks, pack this place. You will not be disappointed. First time in Blue Violet and YOU have to go! It’s a great little spot with amazing food. This quaint restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list, and a very respectable bourbon selection. I recommend Blue Violet to everyone! I will be coming back here again and again.

Food was great!! Got the cornbread as an appetizer and it tasted spectacular! Had the BV burger for an entree and it was perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. For dessert, I had the almond joy bread pudding as pictured and it was sooo good! The staff and overall atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be coming back! 🙂

The food was delicious, and came out incredibly quickly. The mid-century decor reminded me a bit of my grandmother but it oddly works. Our waiter was incredibly nice. The Chorizo and Cauliflower are my favorites 🙂
