Went to Blue Point Restaurant last night for the first time. Seen and heard a lot of good things about it so my wife and I went for my 65th Birthday. We walked in and it was packed at 6:45 on a Tuesday night. We got seated in another room which was also packed. I believe I saw another room out back but never looked in. It was a chilly night but it was nice and warm where we were seated. Christine was our waitress and she was nice and very knowledgeable. We ask a lot of questions to make sure we are getting what we ordered. The corn bread they serve is excellent the best we had. They make a good drink definitely a good amount of alcohol in them. We started with a clams casino pizza. Bacon, chopped clams, and garlic were spread out over 80% of the white pizza. You better like bacon because there is a lot of it ! If we ate the whole thing we would have been full already. Very filling for an appetizer. My wife ordered the egg plant parmigiana over angel hair. She loved it nice and cheesy ! I like mine a little lighter but I am not the one who ordered it. She loved it and that’s all that matters ! Of course she couldn’t finish it especially after eating the clams casino pizza. I ordered the seafood platter not the one they serve for the challenge but the one on the menu which was 44 dollars. Since it was my Birthday it was worth the try. They should have put seafood platter for 2 when listing it on the menu. It definitely is an old school back in the day size seafood platter. Haven’t seen one this size in many years at any price. Maybe ate half of it at best and it was excellent ! You have your choice of light batter or beer batter which is thicker. I got the light batter and it was still huge. Can imagine the size of the beer batter one. Christine put my leftovers in a pizza box because that’s the only thing it can fit in. She then came out with a piece of homemade grape nut pudding with a few candles in it and the waitresses sang Happy Birthday. It was an excellent night combining good food , good drinks, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out. Seafood platter will not disappoint ! Thanks Christine for putting up with us !! Lollllll

Food was very good. They had specials for the Tuesday we had gone. I initially wanted to get the apple crasin stuffed chicken but the waitress let me know they were out so I ended up picking the bourbon steak tips with zucchini and rice. My bf got one of the specials that consisted of lobster roll, chowder and stuffed quahog. His choice was very good as well. We will visit again. The restaurant was kinda busy when we had gone so it was a a little loud but nothing we couldnt handle.
They brought bread and corn bread over when we were sat down. The corn bread was wicked good

Most important thing is MAKE A RESERVATION! This place is hopping. Goes to show you how good they are. Natasha is the owner/hostess and she is great. So sweet and personable. She can be found on the floor with the waitresses , serving food, helping to clear tables, talking to the patrons, she is on the move constantly and always making sure your meal is superb . Her husband, Chef Juan, is the head chef and makes amazing food. We have had dinner here several times and never disappointed. Last night my husband started out with the French Onion Soup, so tasty, he had the Shrimp Vegetable primavera and he loved it. Natasha came over to make sure everything was good and offered my husband more sauce, she told him it is homemade so will take a few minutes. Not much longer she came out with the sauce. It was this beautiful buttery garlic sauce, it smelt sooooo good. I had the Chicken Soulvaki, came with a huge greek salad, homemade dressing and homemade tzatziki sauce along with nicely baked pita bread. No complaints from me! Chicken was wonderfully seasoned and moist. Can’t forget to mention the basket of cornbread and bread they give you, the cornbread is great. Our server was Jen, she was very good, always smiling and checking in to make sure all is good. Highly recommend Blue Point Restaurant and again don’t forget to MAKE RESERVATIONS.

Went there with 4 family members and the food was delicious. We had a reservation but still ended up waiting a half an hour. The owner came over several times to ask how everything was and to apologize about the wait. She even sent me home with a $20 gc to make it right. It was a Saturday night and very busy. The waitress was exceptionally accommodating and very friendly. The food is amazing and we come from Johnston RI to eat there. We will be back!
Couple of suggestions would be to have a podium with a hostess to check in because it’s very confusing on who to give your name to and to have a beeper system or text when your table or place in line is ready.

You walk into this hidden gem that is tucked away on Dayton St. in Acushnet and are greeted by a friendly and professional staff. They give you cornbread and a roll to start the dining experience off with a great beginning. The cornbread is among the best I have ever tasted. My wife ordered the 5 ounce scallops with broccoli and beets. The scallops got a thumbs up and the vegetables were tender and tasty. I ordered the half rack of plain ribs with a baked potato and coleslaw. The ribs were perfectly cooked and I enjoyed the potato and slaw, which was chopped up nicely. The staff checked on us several times as we were chowing down and enjoying our wonderful food. We will be back to try other items on the menu. I ordered the Veal Parmigiana with Angel Hair Pasta and my wife went with the ALL YOU CAN EAT Fish Special. My veal was very tasty and tender. The pasta was stick to the wall done as my mother used to do, cooked perfectly. The fish had a thin batter as my wife ordered. It was fresh, flaky and delicious. The fries were tasty and crispy. Clarice did a great job serving us. I suggest making reservations because they are so popular.

Very good restaurant with a great variety of food with good prices. The clams casino pizza was tasty but could use more clams. The salmon was alsi good but had a lot of sauce on top. The buffalo chicken dip had a very good flavor. I will have to come back to try more. The place is small and reservations are recommended. The service was friendly and quick.
