Absolutely delicious Tex-Mex! Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The enchiladas, tacos, rice, and beans were all on point, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The chips and salsa/guac were a perfect start to the meal too.
Great portions, fair prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. This is definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to when I’m craving quality Mexican food. Highly recommend!

After walking around the area for over two hours, I came across Blue Moon and decided to stop in for a beverage; however, I ended up treating myself to a snack as well. I have to say – the bean and cheese taco was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our server and bartender was welcoming, friendly, and engaging, which led to a great conversation about Japanese cars and motorcycles. I could have talked all day, but I will definitely be making time to return to this restaurant again this month.

My boyfriend and I have been going to the original blue moon location for a while now and we absolutely love the new location as well! The food is comforting and filling and the new location is so cute, I had to get a picture of the menus! I had to get the enchiladas with guisada and they totally filled my plate up, just exactly what you would want from a Tex-Mex restaurant. On this visit, we took our dog and sat outside where they have plenty of cute seating. It’s right on the Riverwalk so you could watch people walking by or have a pretty walk after your meal. Next time we come, we will definitely try their cocktails. This is a perfect spot for Texas Mexican comfort food! They have breakfast tacos, lunch specials, fajitas. Definitely a menu that you could dive into, and when my family is visiting, this is the first place I would take them to. I wanted to take a picture of my enchilada plate, but as you can see, it was too good! also the tortillas are so fresh and they must be homemade!

If you want to enjoy great Mexican food at a super nice location, this is a place for you! Parking can be a little tricky on busy days, but it is well worth it. Food is really good, service very friendly, the premises are clean and very nicely decorated, you are right next to the river, surrounded by pieces of art. Prices are incredibly accessible!

What a vibe. I was a tourist traveling all day. I was interested in walking / riding along the River Walk. This place checked all the boxes. The ambience was perfect – not crowded, good Tex-Mex food, friendly service, and the outdoor seating was quiet and calming. Perfect ending to a long travel day.

Highly recommend despite the 2 reviews about the servers . We loved the food, atmosphere and the service was amazing !! The girls were sweet , friendly & quick. Food was bomb , just like home cooked food . Homemade tortillas was the hook Just try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed!!

Absolutely love this place! From ambience to the food to the staff! This is may be a new location for Blue Moon but it definitely has the excellent traditional flavor and items that have made them legendary.

Cute restaurant off the Riverwalk Blue Star. Delicious Tex-Mex food with delicious plates. I ordered the Mini Asada Tacos which came with a side of charro beans and my fiance ordered the Tex Mex Plate that came with 2 cheese enchiladas, 1 chalupa with rice and beans. Everything full of flavor. Will definitely come back when in the area!

The outside atmosphere is fun with the painted silos and statues. The food was the second best I’ve had in San Antonio. We will definitely return! We also love that we can return/pick up Bcycle bikes here. It’s a lovely ride among the riverwalk.
