I came for the first time and had a great experience. We came later in the day and there was no wait. It’s a very cute and cozy place, and our server was personable and attentive. We got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer to share and I would highly recommend – they were fantastic! I got the shrimp and grits which was delicious and a big serving. I took about half home in a to go plate. I also got a salted caramel latte which was excellent. My daughter got a chocolate chip waffle which looked really good as well. They also have vegan and gluten free options which are hard to find around here. I’m glad we tried this place and excited to return!

The food, coffee, it were amazingly delicious. The only bad thing was the noise level inside, it was about 10am to about 1115 am, It was so loud inside the restaurant, everyone talking, you had to strain to here your party talking at your table over other tables and conversations. Oh, and a crying toddler. Wow. If they can do something to cut down on the noise level, what an amazing experience it would be, so much better. The food and drinks are fabulous. I would highly recommend it here for a great brunch experience.

Clean restaurant. Only open until 3. Waitress was fabulous! Food was so GOOD – I had the tuna stack and salmon club. Our son had the blueberry pancakes. A friend had nachos. We all LOVED our meal.

Blue dog Bristo is a gourmet breakfast place. The food is exquisite and delicious. The coffee is also great. Keep in mind that “specialties” come with a price tag in them. It is a nice local place to enjoy and good mimosa with your breakfast.3 stars for service in this location based on a rather longer wait in our visit due to a server not acknowledging we were there? But while I waited to be served ,I noticed that everyone else was tended with care and a smile. Still I recommend visiting if you are in town.

Came in today and it seemed steady but not super busy. My bf and I were seated by the hostess promptly. However, we sat for about 10-15 minutes without being addressed by anyone. We left and one of the workers approached us when we were in our car. I didn’t catch his name, but he seemed nice. He apologized for what happened and asked if we would be willing to come back in. I just found it strange how no one cared to acknowledge us until we got up and left. We ended up going to flamingo landing next door and was promptly seated and served. This was our first time coming to blue dog and it will be our last.

Fun place to go for brunch! We sat at one of the 2 bar areas and had a blast! Bottomless mimosas and yummy food along with friendly staff who were on point. The presentation of the food was also very well done. Lots of great choices.

The bananas foster French bread was amazing! We also had the pecan bacon, which was a delicious meal in and of itself! Service was fast and friendly from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is calm and open…very airy and well appointed.

We got sat with dirty menus. My wife asked what the Keto substitute for the pancakes/waffles was, and the server went back and asked the kitchen, and they told her its a completely different bag. Didn’t say if it was almond or coconut flour, etc. They substituted her eggs for scramble but forgot to substitute mine for over easy and came out medium. We then got a Keto waffle instead of pancake, but they fixed it immediately. Service was alright, and it took 5-10 min after we got done eating for the check/box. Overall food/atmosphere was great but need better front of house with attention to detail.
