From Chicago & I absolutely LOVED this place. My server was the sweetest Jillian provided the best service ever. I wish I got to see the 6 doggies . I ordered the Blue dog steak & eggs, super cute latte & a peach mimosa! I definitely recommend this spot.

Had about 30 minute wait on a Sunday around 11:15am. French press coffee was great. Banana foster pancakes were extremely sweet. The dog ascetics were perfect for a dog mom like myself.

Stopped at Blue Dog for breakfast. Great place with good food and drinks. Hubby ordered the Blueberry Mojito and Blue Dog Breakfast with overeasy eggs. It came with pancakes that he really enjoyed. I ordered the Peach Bellini and the free Range Skillet with a biscuit. Great flavor. Our server was very attentive even though he was quite busy.

I’ve gone to Blue Dog a few times or have ordered with each location. I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten free. I understand cross contamination might happen but I had a bad experience on Saturday when I ate there. I got a meal with gluten free bread. The server dropped the food off and even said “here’s your gluten free bread”. The bread looked different than I had seen previously but between both locations, I have had different versions of gluten free bread. My husband tried it and said he wasn’t sure. The bread looked as though it was gluten free and the server had even mentioned the bread being gluten free- so I ate it. It was not gluten free- I was so sick that I almost made my husband take me to the hospital. I have had celiac disease for 20 years and trusted the server would not have said it was gluten free several times if it wasn’t. I should have pressed and asked again but didn’t want to seem rude (as I used to be a sever). I’m disappointed because I trusted that she was telling me the correct thing. I would appreciate a better way to mark gluten free items when they come out or at least better knowledge from the server.

We have been meaning to try Blue Dog Bistro for some time and finally had our chance. It did not disappoint.
My husband had the chicken caprese, I had the crab cake bene, he also tried the banana oat pancakes. Service was excellent, the food was amazing. The chicken caprese topped out everything else but everything was fresh and delicious. We have already planned out what we will order on our next visit and plan to try everything on the menu at least once.

I came for the first time and had a great experience. We came later in the day and there was no wait. It’s a very cute and cozy place, and our server was personable and attentive. We got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer to share and I would highly recommend – they were fantastic! I got the shrimp and grits which was delicious and a big serving. I took about half home in a to go plate. I also got a salted caramel latte which was excellent. My daughter got a chocolate chip waffle which looked really good as well. They also have vegan and gluten free options which are hard to find around here. I’m glad we tried this place and excited to return!
